I wanted a weekend break in London but wasn’t sure where to stay, so a friend of mine suggested Montcalm London Marble Arch. I’m so glad she did! The place is right in the middle of the city, so it’s perfect for exploring, but to be honest I would have been quite happy if I hadn’t gone out at all because the hotel is an absolute paradise. The spa was fantastic, my bedroom was impeccable and the Crescent Restaurant was superb. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing, it was easy to forget I was even in a city at all. I will definitely be going back again one day .

Enjoyable experience with super friendly staff
The spa were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is more of an expertise pool (very small) but was still relaxing and not overcrowded.

Excellent massage, shame about the piped Xmas music
The massage was amazing, done by an excellent therapist.
The spa facilities were fine but I failed to understand why they played loud big band Christmas piped music, not conducive to relaxing in the sauna and steam room. My massage saved the day, and subdued my irritation.
