Needless to say, the post-exercise warm-down is just as important, and that’s why you will want to make the most of the facilities. Take a dip in the heated indoor pool, or perhaps in the spa pool instead. And a spell in the sauna or steam room will relax you in no time at all.

For something a little more informal, or for a pre-dinner cocktail or two, be sure to try Ewennys Bar and Grill. A full bar menu, as well as an excellent wine list, is waiting to welcome you. No wonder foodies from across the country love to visit the Best Western Heronston Hotel.

Our Chefs have their own fruit trees and herb garden. They also make fresh bread rolls for dinner and our own Welsh cakes and desserts.

We couldn’t be happier with our spa day. We had full body massages. All of our needs were catered to and nothing was too much trouble. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you all for a wonderful, relaxing experience!

The booking experience over SpaSeekers was easy to navigate - it allowed me to see different packages/deals and choose what was right for me. The spa experience in the Best Western Heronston Hotel was very relaxing. There was a good sized swimming pool, however I found there were not enough loungers for the amount of people there. The massage therapist was very good - I had a back, neck and shoulders massage and mini facial. Other facilities included a steam room and sauna.

Booked as a birthday treat for a friend. Was pleasantly surprised at both facilities and treatments. The lady who performed the massage and pedi was amazing. The spa was occupied but not overcrowded and was a very relaxing environment. Experience included afternoon tea as well which was also really pleasant. Would definitely return.

Booked overnight spa break online for sister and myself, service was quick and efficient, spa treatment, Indian head message and back massage, was professionally done and relaxing, spa pool and Jacuzzi was slightly cooler than expected, was not prepared for my relaxation to be disrupted for several young children running around pool and screaming for 2 hours, left the spa area early because of it. Hotel could do with updating but rooms were comfortable and clean, staff friendly and courteous. Should of been warned in advance about children time in spa pool area, so will not be going back.
