This was the best spa I have ever been too (compared with other high-end spaces in Scotland and London). Numbers were kept low, the entire thermal suite was excellent complete with a picture window in the dry sauna overlooking rabbits in a forest! There was an excellent poolside drinks service for the outdoor hot tub and the massage treatments were also very high quality. Honestly the best of the best, in my opinion.

If you want a short break, wonderful food, lovely facilities and breathtaking views Armathwaite Hall has it all. As a celebration my partner booked a Sunday evening spa break, and it was amazing. The staff are really friendly and nothing is an issue.

In my opinion the spa was excellent. Special thank you to all the staff. As for the hotel I didn't think we got value for money! The main building could do with a re-vamp! I cannot see how we could have been charged nearly £1100.00 for a 2 night stay when the food in the main house wasn't anything to talk about, the service was none existent even had to chase down the bar staff when we needed a drink and no atmosphere what so ever. To top it all when we returned to our room the digital tv didn't work On the whole very disappointed! Indulgence Break lol Apparently we were upgraded lol Kind regards!
