Beautiful spa facilities, lovely staff throughout our visit both in the spa and in the hotel itself, but the reason you have to leave the lovely spa and walk all the way out past the pub through the car park to the hotel for your lunch whilst in your robe and slippers really makes no sense! The room we had was beautiful but really, really cold. There was a lovely fire place in the room but wasn’t lit and because we had been using the spa facilities before lunch and our treatments it made us feel even more cold. By the time we had walked back to the spa our feet were freezing having to walk back in the sleet and rain. Our treatments were absolutely fabulous and the place is so lovely, just don’t understand why they do not use the lovely room where you fill out your forms to serve lunch (lunch was mainly sandwiches so wouldn’t be too hard). Would definitely recommend the spa but probably not for a spa day unless it’s a beautiful hot day.

Great Spa with obvious Covid restrictions but lovely and clean. Only problem was re covid, one door in one door out which meant you were outside in your dressing gown!

The hotel is a lovely building and has some pretty gardens and areas to host a wedding for example. Bad things: The spa has clearly been built after the hotel and is separate, meaning you have to...... Read more
