The food and restaurant service was first class and represented a 4* rating. Whilst the bathroom was cleaned after day one the bed was not made, there were no tissues and no flannels . The room was freezing, although there was a plug in convector heater. We were told to expect a maintenance man but after hour when we had to contact Reception again to be told that the heating did not come on until 6 p.m.The restaurant that evening was also freezing but did improve the next day after we told the Restaurant Manager. On departure we were not asked if we enjoyed our stay. The staff at the Horizons could not have cared less and we actually had to ask for towels at their reception despite signing in as a guest. Sadly we would not recommend this hotel.

The spa itself was amazing. As was the hotel. On arrival at 2pm the reception staff told us we could check in early. We went to rooms got changed and headed to spa for the treatments we had booked. Only 1 person was on duty even though we were a party of 9, therefore not everyone’s treatments were able to be done. We booked 5/6 months ago and was asked what time we would like dinner. We chose 7pm and therefore booked entertainment at a different location for after. 4pm- a member of staff told us they were moving out table booking to 8pm as they had a booking of 89 to attend. We were offered 3 bottles of wine for the mix up. I cancelled our later entertainment to then be told they will actually need to seat us at 7pm. I went to book our entertainment again to be told it wasn’t possible! So because of someone’ being incapable of booking properly, the hen I had booked never went to plan and we missed out on entertainment and half out party never received the treatments in spa!

Enjoyed our stay, this is our second visit. Nice breakfast & restaurant meal also good. Only negative was that there was very little heating due to some boiler issue. Has to result to electric heater (not great).

A nice hotel spa. I came at the weekend. Really wanted to relax - but the pool is shared and there were plenty of under 5s there at that time, swimming lessons also go on. Also there were no recliner seats - to be fair there isn't space for them at the poolside. The massage was good - although not head and neck as advertised. I would recommend it as good for the money but if you want to lie back and enjoy P&Q by the pool, then not so much.

It’s a nice friendly hotel, I wouldn’t call it a spa hotel due to basic facilities. The staff were great & the evening meal delicious & healthy.

The hotel is pleasant and welcoming. The staff were helpful but there could have been a few more, especially in the Brasserie Restaurant. Ambassador room was comfortable and well appointed. The pool, steam room and sauna were nice but needed some maintaining. The food was excellent, the highlight of our stay. Overall I was really pleased with my stay and would recommend the hotel and package to friends.
