We had the most wonderful relaxing time at Luton Hoo Spa.the Hall and grounds are beautiful with so much history and from the moment we arrived, the staff were very attentive. The spa was immaculately clean, the treatments were excellent and our room was perfect. Spacious, clean and a wonderful was to wind down after our relaxing day. The Adams Brassiere served great quality food and wine and the staff, again were excellent. We did not want to leave and we will certainly go back. There are so many places that look good online but disappoint in real life but Luton Hoo was not one of them.

Stunning location, grounds and buildings with a large pool. Excellent treatment and therapist. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi pool was not working during our visit. Lunch was very good but could not quite believe the £6 charge for a very small, not very good, coffee. However, had a great day and would definitely return.

30 mins before our treatments were due to start (55 mins followed by 25 mins) I received a call from the spa informing me one of the therapists was off sick so our treatments had to be changed. I took the hit and they could only fit in 25 mins on Sunday and 25mins on the Monday. The spa was lovely and the treatments very good but it was a real shame I couldn't have my allocated time. They did offer a partial refund but I was really looking forward to a relaxing 1hr 20mins. Breakfast was slightly spoiled as the Maitre d sat us right by the door despite there being plenty of tables. I then asked politely for more butter and she literally threw it onto the table. It was very disappointing and not what I was expecting from a 5* hotel.

I purchased this as a treat for my sister visiting from San Francisco and it was a real treat - from the room to the Spa and the food and the lovely staff.
