My friend and I were delighted by the whole experience, especially the facial, body massage and pedicure. Having had facials in other locations we both felt that the two team members who looked after us went above and beyond and we would recommend them highly.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the spa at this hotel. It is very small with a Jacuzzi that only fits 6 people. A sauna that fits around the same amount of people and a relaxation room that only has 4 sun lounges. We found it to crowded and in the end went back to our hotel room on the Saturday afternoon due to the fact we couldn't use any of those facilities. The massage was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Our room was nice and tidy but our heater unfortunately sounded like roadworks outside and couldn't cope with keeping our room to temperature. I have been to a few spas now and I wouldn't class this one as a spa hotel.

My daughter and I booked a mini indulgence afternoon. Although the spa area of the hotel was small and shabby the staff were really nice and friendly. We went in the hot tub first which was very relaxing and outside but very warm water. The mini back massage was ok 25 mins. Afternoon tea was very good, very plentiful far too many delicious cakes so we took most of them home. Lovely setting overlooking the river. Quite a relaxing couple of hours and very reasonably priced.

Booked a deal that included a Twilight Spa package, a spa treatment each, and three course dinner for two. The spa area is quite small, so don't expect a pool. There is an outdoor hot tub on the patio, alongside the sauna and a relaxation room. The hob tub is great, you can ring a bell to be brought drinks whilst you're in the bubbles. We got lucky in that nobody else was using the facilities apart from my partner and I, otherwise it would have been a bit cramped. We had a short massage in the treatment rooms which was nice. There is also a gym, but I wasn't interested in that so can't comment ;) The restaurant and food available on the set menu were great and had some decent options to choose from. Staff in the restaurant were really friendly and nice.

I took my mum away for a special birthday and this hotel looked to offer everything I was looking for. Whilst the hotel was in a lovely riverside location with a great brasserie serving a good standard of food, our upgraded room fell short of our expectations and was very noisy. The hotel had an evening function which went on til quite late which meant that my mum did not get a great deal of sleep. This unfortunately put a dampener on our stay and would urge anyone booking this hotel to ensure you request a quiet room.
