Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa is on the edge of the market town of Hinckley, right on the Leicestershire-Warwickshire border. A 25-minute stroll takes you to the town centre with its traditional market – it’s been held three days a week since the 1300s! You can wander up Castle Street to browse an eclectic mix of family-run independent boutiques, or head over to The Crescent for modern high-street shopping.

Motorbike fans can head to the edge of town to catch the Triumph Factory Tour, while those seeking a slower pace can watch narrowboats drift along the peaceful Ashby Canal. If you decide to venture further afield, Leicester and Coventry are both reachable in under half an hour, while the NEC and the bustling centre of Birmingham are also within easy reach.

Sorry! Sketchley Grange doesn’t have its own golf course. But if you’re itching to work on your swing, you’re in luck. Hinckley Golf Club is a mere five-minute drive down the road, and this 18-hole parkland course welcomes visitors to pay and play.
