In a 15-minute drive you could be walking from the National Trust’s Stackpole Estate to the picture-perfect Barafundle Bay. This four-mile round trip winds through woodland and along the coast. It's steep, but the views are worth it!

Yes, Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa has a swimming pool, and it’s a thing of beauty! Luxurious and tranquil, the 14-metre infinity swimming pool is designed with sleek, modern aesthetics and framed by large windows that let natural light flood the space. The serene atmosphere is enhanced by soft lighting and elegant surroundings, making it the perfect place to swim, float or simply relax.

Alongside the main infinity pool, there’s a spa bath, herbal sauna and aromatic steam room. Please note that the sauna and steam room operate on an alternate-day basis - on one day the sauna will be operating, and the next day the steam room will be operating.

It sure does. There are 38 generously-sized bedrooms, split between the gorgeous Georgian building and the Coach House. Each one is elegantly decorated with a nod to the hotel’s heritage, and feature en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities and flat-screen TVS.

Standard Double or Twin rooms offer convenience and comfort, while Superior King or Twin rooms are even more stylish and spacious. Both of these are in the main building. Over at the Coach House, Doubles are tranquil and homely, while Family rooms let you all spread out.

Here on an overnight stay? You can check in from 3pm, while checkout time is 10.30am on your day of departure. For spa days and half days, arrival times depend on the package you have booked, so do check your booking confirmation. 

Not fully. There are several steps up to the main hotel and five steps to the ground floor rooms. There are no fully accessible rooms, no lift, and no rooms feature a walk-in shower.

You’ll find Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa in Lamphey, a village near Tenby in Wales Surrounded by rolling fields, it’s right next door to a historic landmark - the medieval Bishop’s Palace, thought to be the place where Henry VII was conceived. Now in ruins, much of the stonework is still standing and offers a fascinating glimpse into how the bishops of St David’s spent their downtime!

Staying at Lamphey Court Hotel means you’re just minutes from the coast. A 10-minute drive takes you to Tenby’s golden beaches, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the world-famous Barafundle Bay. It’s also a perfect base for inland exploring – within 20 minutes, you can reach Pembroke Castle, Folly Farm, and Oakwood Theme Park.

Fabulously so. Although you have to be an adult to enjoy a treatment or spa day, Lamphey Court Hotel rolls out the red carpet for little ones. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to the coast. Within a short drive, you and your crew can be paddling on Tenby’s beaches, seeing the animals at Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo or exploring Pembroke Castle. They’ll even pack you up a picnic if you’re going out for the day! 

Kids can swim in the pool between 8:30am and 11am, and 3pm and 6pm and you’ll find children’s menus perfect for picky eaters. Chances are they’ll love the Barrel and Stone stone-baked pizza menu that’s available each evening!

When it’s time for bedtime stories, Coach House Family Rooms let you all get a great night’s sleep. These spacious suites feature a double bedroom with a sofa area and an adjoining twin bedroom.

Good news for dog lovers! Pets are welcome at Lamphey Court Hotel, with paw-friendly rooms available at a cost of £10 per dog, per night. Your dog can stay in Coach House rooms, but they’re not allowed to set a paw in public areas such as the bar, lounge, or restaurant.

Because Lamphey Court is set in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside, there are plenty of places for walkies nearby. Lamphey Bishop’s Palace just across the road, welcomes dogs on leads, Freshwater East Beach is great for coastal walks and dog-friendly adventures.

Looking to tee off in tranquility? While Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa doesn’t have its own golf course, Pembrokeshire is packed with stunning fairways that make for a fantastic day on the greens. In fact just 15 minutes from the hotel you’ll find Tenby Golf Club, Wales’ oldest affiliated club dating back to 1888.

With its coastal location, rolling fairways and challenging bunkers, it’s a course that keeps players on their toes - especially when that sea breeze picks up!
