About

With its rugged cliffs, pretty fishing villages and ancient moors, Pembrokeshire is raw, untamed and ridiculously beautiful. But luckily for spa-lovers, it’s not without its luxurious boltholes, as Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa proves. This four-star Georgian mansion is just minutes from some of West Wales’ most jaw-dropping coastline. If you love the idea of exploring wild landscapes before retreating to a spa sanctuary, this is your perfect escape.

A charming country house hotel, Lamphey Court is surrounded by mature grounds and historic landmarks, including the vast ruins of a medieval bishop’s palace, right next door. It makes the ideal base to explore Tenby, Barafundle Bay and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. But when it’s time to come in from the great outdoors, head directly to Lamphey Court’s serene spa.

Drift between the 14-metre infinity pool, herbal sauna, aromatic steam room and spa bath, before padding to one of the five tranquil treatment rooms for a relaxing ritual. Here, expert therapists use premium products from Elemis to restore, refresh and rejuvenate you. There’s even an on-site hair salon for a little blow-dry before dinner.

Beyond the spa, 38 well-decorated rooms and suites are split between the main building and the Coach House. Refined dining awaits in both the Georgian Restaurant and the light-filled Conservatory, featuring the creations of some of Pembrokeshire’s finest chefs using locally-sourced ingredients - no wonder it’s Visit Wales-accredited.

Step outside, and Pembrokeshire’s natural beauty unfolds. Just a short distance away, Freshwater East, Barafundle Bay and Swanlake Bay offer golden sands and dramatic coastal views, while the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path invites visitors to explore the rugged cliffs and unspoiled countryside. Pembroke Castle is also nearby, providing a glimpse into the region’s rich history.

With its blend of historic charm and modern indulgence, Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa offers the perfect escape for those who love coastal adventures just as much as luxurious relaxation. Whether you're strolling along Pembrokeshire’s wild cliffs, discovering hidden beaches or simply unwinding in the tranquillity of the spa, every moment here is designed to inspire and indulge you.

Well done Darcy - best massage I’ve had - my back hasn’t felt so loose in a long time. If I lived nearer I’d be visiting you every month. You got into all the knots in my neck and my lower back this morning feels great - no stiffness at all - first time in months.

Very relaxed and pleasant few hours at the spa and restaurant today. The pool, sauna and Jacuzzi were quiet as was the restaurant where we had delicious beetroot soup and the staff were very attentive. Love this old building with its dated charm although the spa was new and stylish. Would happily return.

We booked for our 10th year anniversary. We have been to Lamphey Court almost every year for special occasions. This time around, we upgraded our booking to include 1 night stay. The spa was excellent except the steam room was not working during our visit. Otherwise, we enjoyed our time.

Good Spa visit, but do NOT wear the slippers outside!

We booked a package for my hen do. The spa was lovely, the massage was excellent, and the afternoon tea was wonderful. We were advised that we could wear our slippers and robes over to the conservatory for afternoon tea. The bottom of the slippers have no grip, and my mother-in-law fell down the steps outside the conservatory due to the slippers being wet and slippery. Unfortunately she cut her leg and broke her toe. Other than this, it was a wonderful day.

I booked the spa as a surprise birthday present for my mum. We had a two course dinner first, followed by an afternoon in the spa. I had a hot stone massage and a facial. It was the most bliss hour. The treatments were amazing. Will absolutely recommend. The hotel, facilities and staff were fab.
