Located in Nottinghamshire and within easy reach of the whole of the East Midlands, it really is a must-visit.

Louise & myself had a great time at Thoresby. Went to the gym had a coffee then swam, used the sauna steam room & hot tub, then in the Blue Room for afternoon tea & walk round the grounds. Then home to chill out.

What a great day. Thoresby Hall hotel was a lovely setting for our spa day. Our spa experience started with a lovely walk around the hall and grounds. We then had our afternoon tea inside the hall, which again was great, a beautiful setting and a really nicely presented tea, which was served with friendly staff. Next onto our spa afternoon. Again a nice relaxing experience. I also used the gym. Not the biggest but it had enough equipment for a good workout. For part of a birthday treat (60th) the spa day was great value for money.

The afternoon tea was served to our party of four in the splendid Blue Room, overlooking the grounds; a varied selection of sandwiches and cakes with Prosecco as an added extra and a good selection of tea with top-ups as required. We were made to feel very welcome. We allowed an hour and a half for afternoon tea, then relaxed on the poolside loungers before taking a swim, and using the sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. We even had a little warming sun shining down through the glass roof while we were swimming! Facilities were clean, if a little dated. The pool was a pleasant temperature, but we would have preferred the Jacuzzi to have been warmer - personal preference! Towels and gowns were provided and we took our own poolside footwear and reading material for relaxing on the loungers. Overall a pleasant experience with polite, helpful staff.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, a 25 minute treatment was included and my 2 friends and I were delighted with the therapists and treatments received. A restful morning followed by a tasty afternoon tea.
