The Dower House Restaurant
Getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is a must sometimes, so make sure you set aside time to spend in the superb spa. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be able to forget all about your usual stresses and strains.
Take your pick from a treatment list that has something for everyone, then settle back and soak up the ambience. Later, why not relax in style amid the soothing waters of the exquisite 12-metre swimming pool?
The streets of Bath provide the perfect excuse for lovely long walks and invigorating jogs, all accompanied of course by breath-taking views. This is a city that lends itself perfectly to life on two legs.
If you prefer two wheels, you can explore the city and the surrounding area by using a number of popular cycle routes. They include Route Four of The Cycle Network, the Kennet and Avon Canal Path and the Colliers Way.
World-class pampering deserves world-class dining, and that’s exactly what you’ll find at the superb Royal Crescent Hotel. The Dower House Restaurant has a reputation for mouth-watering dishes served amid the most stylish surroundings.
As well as magnificent food, the views of the manicured garden are as lovely as it gets. And if you happen to crave something that epitomises indulgence, say yes to a traditional afternoon tea.

Stunning, beautiful hotel with an intimate relaxing spa. From the moment we arrived to the second we left we felt special, the service was personal, friendly and all staff could not do enough for us. Every part of the hotel and spa was spotlessly clean and fresh. The massage I had was so relaxing. The surroundings were perfect. It is just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. We will definitely return!

A weekend break that I’ll never forget

I’ve always wanted to visit Bath, and recently my husband and I made that dream a reality. We stayed at the Royal Crescent Hotel, a retreat that had everything we needed for a getaway to remember. The hotel is historic, relaxing and absolutely beautiful, and it was in the perfect location for exploring the city. We did loads of sightseeing, but I have to say the high point of the whole weekend was the time I spent in the spa. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed and so soothed.
