Had a lovely day overall but found the space to be overbooked for the size. Hot tub and sauna often full. Not shown facilities on arrival - left to find ourselves. Really enjoyed massage, therapist was great and was allowed to join a. Workout class which was a highlight.

It couldn't have been better to be honest. The venue is immaculate, and the staff were pleasant, professional and attentive. The treatments were perfect and could not have wanted anything different. The Hotel was the same, with great service, great food and a super comfy room! Will definitely return to this spa.

We were a little shocked when we arrived at the Bannatyne Hotel in Darlington to find that the spa was in a different location (shows how you should read the small print!) I have to say driving to the spa ( which took us about 5 mins) we were feeling very negative and to be honest almost looking for things to find fault with - well we were VERY surprised to fine that everything was PERFECT. We couldn't fault anything, from the friendly greeting with very thorough instructions, to the lunch, to the pool area with steam, sauna and Jacuzzi, a cheeky gin and tonic before our treatment and then on to the spa treatment and relaxation room afterwards. We also came back for a swim the next morning and again everything was great. We had a fabulous time - thank you.
