Bannatyne’s at Bury St Edmunds is a lovely spa, with a relaxing spacious interior. The staff and therapists were excellent. The only negative was no drinking water was available by the pool and spa (we had to go into the gym to refill our bottles) and the loungers are a little close together. But overall it was a great spa day and I will definitely return.

We had a lovely day with our treatments making it a truly relaxing day. The only complaint i could make was the restaurant visit. We hadn't got lunch included in our spa day so reserved a slot upon arrival. Everything was going great, food was tasty, speedy service. Just as we'd finished eating but still with our purchased drinks left, the bill suddenly appeared on the table, even though neither of us had requested it. We said nothing until seconds later a young man appeared with the card machine requesting payment. We felt we were either being rushed to vacate our table or not trusted to pay before we left. Not what we were expecting and it's never happened before in all the years we've been visiting this spa. The rating would have got 5 star but for this.

Visited the spa for my sisters retirement. We had a wonderful hot stone massage then enjoyed all the other facilities on offer. Beautiful building and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

I booked for myself and my husband for his birthday through SpaSeekers. It was a great offer and booking was really easy. We had a lovely relaxing day. We had an excellent back, neck and shoulder massage and as a therapist myself I can be fussy! We made use of all the facilities. The spa I feel could do with a revamp. Rotting wood around windows but doesn’t effect usage of the spa. There is a good range of options for lunch. I have been a few times and will definitely return.
