The Festival Recovery Package: Your Free Remedy To Festival Fatigue
Aside from the sun, light nights and sport, one thing that truly makes a great British summer, is festival season! We’re lucky to have a whole host of festival options across the country – from the Pyramid Stage of Glastonbury to the immersive experience of Boomtown – but there’s one thing they all have in common: they leave you in need of some serious need of rest and recovery.
Days spent dancing and drinking in the sun, followed by poor sleep on a tent floor is a recipe for a sore head and body, so being in the business of rest, recovery and rejuvenation, we felt we could do something to help…
Introducing: The Festival Recovery Package
Landing on the late August bank holiday weekend, Reading and Leeds Festival is always one of the stand out dates on the festival calendar, and with a high energy lineup that includes the likes of Chappell Roan, Travis Scott, Limp Bizkit, Hozier and Bloc Party, its set to be a big one. So, to help attendees of the festival to swap their wellies for wellness immediately after leaving the festival grounds on Monday 25th August, we’ve partnered with two of our partner spa to give away free festival recovery sessions.
That’s right, for anyone attending Reading or Leeds Festival 2025, you’ll be able to pack up your tent and head to either the Elevate Spa at voco Reading or the Spa Garden at Iveridge Hall in Leeds to kick start your recovery – you just need to prove you were actually at the festival!
What’s Included in the Festival Recovery Package?
Elevate Spa at voco Reading
With a package designed for getting over the aches and pains of a heavy festival weekend, the Elevate Spa at voco Reading will welcome you with fresh robes, slippers and the choice of some simple peace and quiet on a lounger, the chance to sweat out the toxins in the sauna and steam room, or even ease the sore muscles in the pool.
Each guest will also be offered a free 25-minute treatment during their three hour visit to the spa, which includes the choice of a neck and back massage, facial, foot recovery treatment or hand recovery treatment. All of which use soothing products from ishga, including exfoliating salt scrubs and nourishing seaweed wraps, perfectly suited to healing a hangover and curing sore, danced-out muscles.
The Spa Garden at Iveridge Hall, Leeds
If you’re heading to the Leeds leg of the festival, then one of Leeds’ leading outdoor spas could await you on the Monday following the festival. You’ll get full use of the spa and their curated recovery hour, which offers 60 essential minutes of relaxation and rejuvenation. Tired festival-goers will be able to indulge in hot and cold contrast therapy to soothe their aching limbs with the Himalayan salt sauna and ice barrel experience, while those looking for a different experience can soak in the thermal spa pool, snuggle up by the outdoor fire pit or kick back in the relaxation lounge and aromatherapy steam cabin.
How can Reading & Leeds attendees get their free spa experience?
Spaces are limited, so what are you waiting for? You’ve got your festival tickets, you’ve marked out the acts you want to see on the lineup, now you just need to plan in the ultimate way to recover.
To do so, we just need to see proof that you are in fact attending either Reading or Leeds Festival 2025, accepted in the form of either an order confirmation e-mail or photograph of your ticket. You will then be contacted in advance of Monday 25th August to confirm whether you have been successful in claiming your free spa experience at either voco Reading or the Spa Garden at Iveridge Hall in Leeds.
