It was a lovely day. The lunch we had was nice. The leisure side of things is small with only 1 small Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and a pool. The pool was open to the children which meant it did get a little noisy. The spa relaxation room and treatment rooms were having a refurb so treatments were done in a hotel room. This sounded strange but was absolutely fine. Amy was amazing and I received a very facial. It would have been ideal to have known ahead of time that the spa was going through a refurb but it didn’t massively impact the day. Overall, was good for the price paid.

Loved this experience from start to finish. Staff throughout the hotel were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Spa experience lovely and so relaxing. Lunch was lovely too.

Our spa experience did not disappoint. Welcomed at the desk and discussed our needs and plan for the day. Staff were very accommodating in changing our lunch booking to 2pm so we could have the full 4 hours in the spa. We spent an hour in the pool and sauna and hot tub. Then we took turns with our treatments. Both the facial and shoulder and back massage were excellent and very relaxing. We then spent another 1 1/2 hours around the pool, sauna, steam room and spa pool before showering and dressing in the changing area which was stocked with hairdryers and straighteners. We then went for a lovely light lunch of halloumi wraps and fries followed by sticky toffee pudding. The option of Prosecco was shared but as I was driving we changed it to a soft drink. All in all excellent session for the price - £49 each.

I have been here a few times and would highly recommend a visit. Positives: The staff are really friendly and the facilities are a perfect size for one day. Pool temperature was pleasant and the whole area was kept clean and tidy. There are shower supplies in the bathrooms and also hairdryers and straighteners available to use. Lockers don’t require any cash/tokens which is also helpful. The afternoon tea was excellent and included in my package this time. Much better than the lunch option where choices are usually very limited. Negatives: Never enough loungers around the pool for everyone. Treatment times are only 25mins (which feels like 15 by the time you’ve got undressed and onto the table). Would be nice to have these slightly longer. Overall a fantastic day out - plus if you use your Tesco vouchers you can boost them to reduce the price of the spa day.

10 of us came for a hen party on a package. The hotel was brilliant. On arrival there was no booking for our cream tea but a manager apologised booked us for the next day and compensated us with some drinks which was a nice surprise. We had dinner and cocktails which were all lovely. Food especially. The staff couldn’t do enough for us all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and spa treatments the following day all perfect as well. We had afternoon tea before we left after lunch, again food was delicious and staff helpful. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% return. Thank you!
