Prefer your workouts with a bit more fresh air? You’re in luck. Just outside the hotel, Riverside Walk offers a peaceful route along the River Don, perfect for a morning jog or a reflective stroll. And if you fancy stretching your legs further, Tyrebagger Woods and Kirkhill Forest are nearby, offering trails through pine-scented woodland.

Feeling adventurous? Head to Transition Extreme in Aberdeen city centre, where you can tackle indoor climbing walls, skate parks, and even high ropes courses. It’s a brilliant way to add a little adrenaline to your spa day.

After a morning in the pool or a magical massage, there’s nothing nicer than settling into this snug haven. With its warm lighting, comfy seating and crackling fires, Caskieben is the kind of place that makes you want to linger. 

Start your day with a traditional Scottish breakfast, complete with all the trimmings. Then come back for lunch or dinner, where the menu leans into comforting classics and crowd-pleasers. Want to try something authentic? Choose the macaroni cheese and opt to have it with haggis on the side! 

There is, and it’s a beauty. This light and airy 12.5-metre pool is heated to a blissful 30°C, so it’s always the perfect temperature. It’s the kind of pool that makes you say “just five more minutes” – and then stay for 20!

But if you’re in the mood to turn up the heat even more, the leisure club also features two saunas. There’s one in the male changing room and one in the female, so you can sweat out the toxins.

The hotel has 155 rooms, made up of Standard Doubles, Twin Rooms, or Family Rooms with two double Hypnos beds – perfect for groups of spa-loving besties. Expect triple-glazed windows, smart TVs and power showers, while Premium Kings boast a few more luxuries, like a fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and pods, bathrobes and slippers and cans of water.

You can check in anytime from 3pm, while check out is at 11am. For spa day packages, arrival times vary, so do check your booking confirmation.

Nestled in the suburb of Dyce, the hotel is practically neighbours with Aberdeen International Airport, so it’s super-convenient if you’re making a flying visit. Hop on a train from Dyce Station (just a short stroll away), and you’ll be in the heart of Aberdeen in under 15 minutes. 

The Aberdeen Dyce Hotel was formerly part of the Marriott family. It has since undergone a major transformation, with its new owners investing a cool £1.5 million to breathe fresh life into the property. 

Originally known as the Courtyard by Marriott Aberdeen Airport, the hotel served both business and leisure travellers thanks to its prime location just minutes from Aberdeen International Airport. It featured modern rooms, a fitness centre and meeting spaces, and was a popular choice for those attending events at nearby P&J Live arena.

Today, the Aberdeen Dyce Hotel continues to offer easy access to the airport and city centre, but with a renewed focus on comfort, wellness and local charm. The rebrand has brought updates to its interiors, leisure facilities and dining options, while maintaining the high standards guests expect from a four-star hotel.

While spa treatments are reserved for guests aged 16 and over, the leisure club pool is open to all. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of two children per adult. 

Generously-sized Family Rooms are designed to sleep two adults and two children, with two comfy Hypnos double beds, a flat-screen TV, and plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy a movie night. Need more room? Interconnecting options are available too.

Dining is a breeze thanks to kid-friendly menus at Caskieben, the hotel’s cosy restaurant. And if you're looking to keep little ones entertained, Aberdeen has plenty to offer. From interactive exhibits at Aberdeen Science Centre to dolphin spotting at Torry Battery, there’s no shortage of adventure. 

It sure is. Accessibility starts before you even step inside, with six parking spaces reserved for Blue Badge holders and a convenient drop-off point right outside the entrance.

Inside, you’ll find two purpose-built accessible rooms on the ground floor. The leisure club is also located on the ground floor, with a friendly team on-hand to help with access to the swimming pool. Within the club, you’ll find a dedicated accessible toilet and changing area, plus a wheel-in shower room with a drop-down seat and grab rails for added support.

Sadly, your furry friend will have to sit this one out. With the exception of registered assistance dogs, Aberdeen Dyce Hotel keeps things strictly human.

Never leave home without your trusty golf clubs? Sadly, Aberdeen Dyce Hotel doesn’t have its own golf course. But don’t hang up your spikes just yet. Craibstone Golf Course is less than three miles from the hotel, with pay and play access seven days a week.
