The menu has a focus on fresh seafood and modern British classics. You can’t go wrong with the Market Fish of the Day, while the afternoon teas (complete with proper Cornish clotted cream, of course) are a legendary local indulgence. 

Yes it does, and it’s beautifully relaxing. The HarSPA features a sleek 11-metre heated indoor pool that lets you float in the warmth while gazing through huge windows at the Atlantic Ocean. While it’s not huge, it does let you test your breaststroke against the swimming jet! 

Our tip? There are dedicated swim times for the little ones, between 9am and 10am and 3pm and 4pm). If you're looking for a kid-free dip, aim for the hours in between!

Yes, it is. While children under 18 can’t have a treatment, use the thermal facilities or hit the gym, mini hotel guests can splash around in the swimming pool daily. The times to come (or avoid!) are between 9am and 10am and 3pm to 4pm daily.

Children are well-catered for in the Harbour Kitchen, Bar & Terrace, where they’ll find a menu crafted just for them and filled with family favourites. Family rooms have a double bed in the master bedroom and two single beds or bunk beds in a connected bedroom. A few rooms can accommodate an extra bed or cot, and some are already provided with a sofa bed. 

Sorry, it isn’t fully accessible. As a historic building perched on a steep hillside, the layout can be a little challenging. The hotel does not have purpose‑built accessible rooms, but some rooms do have walk‑in showers that are accessible by lift. The HarSPA is also not fully wheelchair accessible, and the pool area may be difficult to navigate for guests who cannot manage steps.

It certainly is! The St Ives Harbour Hotel & Spa has a selection of dog-friendly rooms available, for £20 per pup, per night. While your furry companion can't join you for a dip in the HarSPA or a formal sit-down dinner in the main restaurant, they are more than welcome to lounge with you in the bar area and on the terrace. 

When it’s time for walkies, Porthminster Beach is a doggy paradise in the off-season, though seasonal restrictions apply during the summer months. If you’re here in the summer, Bamaluz Beach is dog-friendly all year round, or hit the South West Coast Path for more adventurous sniffing opportunities.

Sorry, it doesn’t. But located just a short distance away in Carbis Bay, Tregenna Castle features a spectacular 9-hole, par-3 golf course voted one of the most scenic in the country. It offers a "no fuss" experience with no tee times required – you simply pay at the leisure reception and play.
