The Coach House

Set against the apple-green backdrop of the golf course, The Coach House brasserie is the resort’s main restaurant. Housed in a beautifully restored 18th-century building, this relaxed yet stylish space serves everything from juicy steaks and crisp salads to comforting pastas and seasonal seafood. 

Fratelli

For something a little more playful, Fratelli brings a taste of Italy to Limavady. Kids can build their own pizzas while grown-ups can enjoy authentic dishes like creamy risottos and wood-fired pizzas. It’s warm, rustic and full of charm – perfect for family dinners or casual catch-ups. 

O'Cahan’s Bar 

When the evening winds down, O’Cahan’s Bar is the place to be. With its cosy corners, local beers and classic cocktails, it’s ideal for a nightcap or a relaxed drink with friends. 

It sure does! Roe Valley Resort has a beautifully designed 20-metre swimming pool that’s softly lit and framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, offering calming views of the surrounding countryside. 

It’s a distinctly family-friendly space. But if you're craving a little grown-up time, the thermal suite is your sanctuary! Access is restricted to guests aged 16 and over, giving adults a chance to truly unwind. Here, you can warm up in the sauna, breathe deeply in the steam room and sink into the bubbles of the spa pool.

Yes it does. With 121 en suite bedrooms, the resort blends all the charm of a country estate with modern luxuries. Love waking up to the sound of birdsong? Guests can request rooms with views of the golf course or the scenic parkland that surrounds the resort, subject to availability.  Room categories include guestrooms, suites and self-catering residences, each designed to suit different needs and budgets. All rooms come equipped with flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer and a private ensuite bathroom – many also feature cosy seating areas and workspaces. The interiors are warm and welcoming, with thoughtful touches that make it easy to feel at home.

Check-in time for hotel guests is from 3pm, with check-out by 11am. If you're staying in one of the resort’s self-catering residences, just note that check-in and check-out times differ slightly.

Coming for a spa day instead of a spa stay? These typically kick off at 10am, giving you a full day to indulge. That said, timings can vary depending on your package, so it’s always best to check your booking confirmation for the most up-to-date schedule.

Roe Valley Resort is tucked away in the heart of Northern Ireland’s stunning Causeway Coast and Glens, just outside the market town of Limavady in County Londonderry. Surrounded by 155 acres of rolling parkland and a championship golf course, the resort feels like a peaceful countryside escape. Yet with Bellarena train station just a ten-minute taxi ride away, it’s surprisingly easy to reach.

The location is a dream for nature lovers. You’re just minutes from the Roe Valley Country Park, with its riverside trails and forest walks. But you’re also only a short drive from the world-famous Causeway Coastal Route. That means iconic sights like the Giant’s Causeway, Mussenden Temple, and Dunluce Castle are all at your manicured fingertips.

It’s more than family-friendly. Children are treated like little VIPs at Roe Valley Resort! The resort offers a huge range of accommodation tailored to families, including spacious family suites, junior family rooms, and entire self-catering residences that give everyone room to relax. 

Dining is a delight for younger guests too, with a dedicated children's menu available at both The Coach House and Italian restaurant Fratelli, where kids can unleash their inner Jamie Olivers and make their own pizzas.

When it comes to activities, there’s plenty to keep little ones entertained. The resort offers seasonal kids’ activities, plus access to the on-site adventure play park. Some activities (such as the helter skelter, mini land rovers and jet skis) carry an additional charge.

The swimming pool is open to both children and families. Just note that the thermal suite (including the sauna, steam room and spa pool) is reserved for guests aged 16 and over, giving adults a peaceful space to unwind. If your teen is aged 16 or 17 and interested in a spa treatment, they’re welcome to book one as long as they’re accompanied by an adult.

Yes it is. The hotel offers two accessible guest rooms with wider doorways, adapted bathrooms, with easy access to public areas. Around the resort, most facilities are wheelchair accessible, including the spa reception, dining areas and communal spaces. The swimming pool does have steps for entry, and please note that there is no pool hoist available at this time.

It sure is! Waggy tails get a very warm welcome at Roe Valley Resort. For a small additional charge of £15 per dog, per night, a maximum of two dogs can stay in a dedicated dog-friendly guestroom. All three of the self-catering Residences welcome pampered pups, too. Dogs can join you for a scone in the lobby area, and for a drink or two in O'Cahan’s Bar.
