No matter how hectic your daily life might be, finding time to unwind in style should always be an option. The newly refurbished spa at the Netherwood Hotel is perfect for those occasions when only the very best will do.
As soon as you walk through the door you will have entered an oasis of complete calm that you’ll love. Leave the outside world and all its tensions behind as you relax like you’ve never relaxed before.
There’s a well-equipped gym at the hotel and it’s absolutely perfect for both newbies and experts alike. You’ll love the state of the art equipment and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere that puts you at your ease straight away.
You’ll also find some superb walking, jogging and cycling routes nearby, many of them with picturesque views of the iconic waterfront. Later, when you need to relax, the sauna will be ready and waiting to soothe and refresh you.
The hotel is understandably proud of its fine restaurant, an establish that offers superb dining and an elegant atmosphere. Locally sourced, fish, meat and vegetables are a feature on the menu, all served with an eye on tradition.
There is an air of relaxed informality here, and the views of the Morecambe Bay estuary are particularly impressive. And if you’re feeling especially indulgent, why not succumb to the temptation of a delicious afternoon tea?

Spa Break Christmas Present

We have just enjoyed the Spa at Netherwood Hotel on an overnight package. The staff were excellent, very professional, and helpful. I had a facial and a back massage, my husband had a massage and an exfoliation. We both not only enjoyed our treatments but the spa itself. Very clean, welcoming and would certainly like to visit again.
The hotel itself was very disappointing and the customer service poor and not what you would have expected. The Spa was let down by the hotel.Keith Mitchell, Southport

We spent a 3 hour thermal experience here with afternoon tea, the staff were very friendly and it was such a relaxing afternoon. The various choices of things to do made the hours fly by whether it was jumping between the hot, warm or cold pools to the different steam, sat or saunas.
The added addition of afternoon tea was and advantage and the start of the Christmas lights really made it lovely visit.
I'd recommend for anyone.Matthew Newton, Manchester

The first thing I noticed about the Netherwood Hotel was the incredible view of the sea, and the second thing I noticed was the elegance that seems to be everywhere. This is a lovely place for a weekend away from it all, and I’m so glad I chose to stay there. The rooms are really comfortable, the spa is fantastic and the food in the restaurant was yummy. I had a weekend away with my best friend and we’ve both said we can’t wait to go back again one day. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later!
