Whether you’re here for a spa day or an overnight escape, this is the kind of sanctuary that makes skipping the sightseeing feel like the smartest decision you’ll make all weekend. Eight zen-like treatment rooms offer science‑backed Elemis and nutrient‑rich ishga seaweed rituals – or book the private mud rasul ritual for a steamy skin reset. The thermal suite lets you alternate between rock sauna, aroma steam room and 20m pool, all surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. Post-treatment, curl up with a book on one of the heated loungers and let the relaxation sink in.
Prefer to sweat it out? The state‑of‑the‑art Vital Health & Wellbeing offers a sleek gym floor filled with top-notch Life Fitness equipment, and there’s a timetable of over 115 weekly classes, from AquaFit and BodyPump to yoga. Lace up your walking boots because the 44 acres of landscaped grounds make for stunning walks, or challenge your friends to a game of doubles on one of two tennis courts.
Once a traditional Scottish manor house, the hotel still has a cosy country‑house vibe. After a relaxing spa day, you can indulge in a classic afternoon tea, enjoy one of the best steaks in town at the Scottish Steakhouse or sink into a corner of the lounge with a dram of single malt whisky. When it’s finally time to turn in, choose from 98 inviting bedrooms. Whether you opt for a comfortable Standard or upgrade to a Super Deluxe with traditional trimmings and top‑notch toiletries, you’ll find plush beds, calming décor and all the home comforts you need.
Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa makes you feel a world away from the bustle, yet you’re still only 30 minutes from the bright lights of Glasgow, Edinburgh or Stirling. If you fancy exploring locally, you can witness the engineering marvel of the Falkirk Wheel or stand in awe beneath the towering Kelpies at The Helix park. History buffs can walk the ramparts of nearby Stirling Castle or follow the traces of the Antonine Wall, while those looking to indulge in retail therapy can browse the boutiques of nearby Linlithgow.

I had a spa day here yesterday and honestly couldn’t fault the experience. The treatments were outstanding, especially the back massage, which was probably the best I’ve ever had. The facial was equally relaxing and left my skin feeling amazing. The afternoon tea was lovely with a great selection, and there was so much of it that we even got to take some home, which was a nice touch. The service throughout the day was excellent, with staff being friendly, attentive and welcoming. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the hotel itself is in a beautiful setting that was easy to find. Overall, such a relaxing and enjoyable day. I would definitely recommend and will be back again.

Birthday treat, felt like something was missing from previous spa breaks I've been on, the hotel itself was nice, rooms looked tired and definitely needed decoration to be improved, spa itself was nice but have been on others which offer snacks etc after your treatment. This one had tea but not enough loungers to chill after. Pool and sauna was nice but a lot of regulars locally. Restaurant food was good, but hard to stay within food allocation if your doing the package. Usual drinks not included. Staff really nice and friendly, breakfast spot on.
