The spa was amazing and we went early to have plenty of time to go for a swim and use the sauna and steam room. The treatments were outstanding . The afternoon tea was good and served in a very nice room with a view and a cool breeze which was great as it was a warm day. Would recommend.

The spa was amazing. The staff were lovely and my massage was outstanding. Facilities were clean. Afternoon tea was very disappointing, very little food for two people. Staff in restaurant were helpful and attentive and served the very little food with a smile.

Overall a lovely time at The Crutherland. I had booked the spa day which included 1x25 min treatment each, access to facilities, 2 course lunch. Pros -Friendly and professional staff -Beautiful lunch -Great treatment -Lovely treatment rooms A couple of things to note: The pool area could do with modernisation (some areas do look a little rough). Also we went on a Saturday morning and there were children's swimming lessons on - not an issue for us, but just so you are aware!

We had booked a treatment, and afternoon tea and it was lovely from the moment we showed up. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. My only criticism was the afternoon tea being served in a large empty restaurant- the waitress was great; but it needed a bit more ambience.

DD&B 50 mins of spa treatments. Great deal. Dinner was amazing. 2 course is in deal with a few supplements if desired. Staff lovely in dining room. Spa treatments were lovely. Therapists were attentive. If i were to add a slight criticism. The spa reception staff were not on the ball. Left us sitting too long after filling screening form. Didn't engage after handing in form. We had to ask after 15 minutes to access pool. We were not personally shown where to go. Staff seemed disinterested. We were directed. No slippers. Grab our own towel. Customer care is not in keeping with the rest of the Hotel staff. However it didn't detract from the stay.
