Myself and my partner visited Macdonald Craxton wood for her birthday. We booked a spa break which included accommodation 2 treatments dinner and breakfast. The break was good value for money and was really enjoyable. The only down side was the price of the drinks at the bar which were £36 for 2 drinks 😳.

Me and my husband had a lovely 2 days here, from the time we walked in we were made to feel welcome, The reception staff were lovely and the waitress staff were excellent and nothing was to much trouble. We had a lovely massage and used all the spa facilities. Great place to unwind.

The location of the spa is beautiful. The staff were lovely and the pool was nice. The changing rooms were a little chaotic and not well laid out but there were plenty of lovely Elemis hand wash and moisturizer. The treatment time was somewhat shorter than the 55 minutes although it was carried out nicely. Afternoon tea was very average.

We couldn't fault our experience, both myself and my mum felt very comfortable and relaxed whilst having our treatment. The staff were lovely and polite and nothing was too much. I would definitely recommend the facial and the massage the staff took time to make sure we were relaxed and the service was great.
