About

There’s an elegant ambience about Littlecote House, and it pervades throughout, from the idyllic spa and the historic house to the immaculate grounds and the supremely comfortable bedrooms. Whether you’re here for a day or a stay, you will soon get the feeling that it won’t be enough. Set in an idyllic corner of Wiltshire, it has everything you need for a memorable break from the norm.

You’ll want to spend time in the spa here, of course, so head to the treatment rooms and savour every single moment. There’s also a steam room and sauna, and a fabulous indoor pool.

The hotel has a comprehensive range of bedrooms to offer guests, each of them stylishly decorated and wonderfully peaceful. The historic, Grade I-listed building has plenty of character, so be ready to explore, and when you feel the need for some activity there are many to be found locally.

If you’re keen to see what the local area has to offer, you won’t be disappointed. The mystical stone circles at Avebury and Stonehenge are well worth a visit, and there’s all the retail therapy you could want in Andover and Devizes. Highclere Castle, more familiar as TV’s Downton Abbey, is also a short drive away.

Really nice use of facilities and lovely afternoon tea. Staff and service was perfect; Finlay working in the Spa, Karen doing the afternoon tea where so friendly and helpful.

We went for a package with afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was incredible - served by an amazing lady named Joyce who took great care of us. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The spa itself was rather underwhelming. We only used the shared facilities so can't comment on the treatments but overall we felt like the entire spa area (pool, jacuzzi, steam, sauna) was a bit grubby and needed renovating.

We were very well looked after and had lovely treatments. The place does feel a but like an adults only centre parcs and is not as luxurious as some spas, but still very comfortable and very friendly staff. Also great to have access to all the facilities at the hotel even though we were only on a day spa. we played tennis in the morning then had a swim and sauna before the treatments

We had a very good day.The food for lunch was average. The staff were very friendly. The closure of the ladies changing room so we had to use the "gents" made this part below average if I had to rate it.There was no explanation except workmen in there.Sitting in the reception area in our robes at different times with lots of people(men and women) collecting to go to different activities was not very comfortable.A different area should be offered for pamper clients? The treatments were excellent.

My day here was lovely. The staff were very friendly and the gym and the pool area was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. My treatments (facial, manicure and massage by Christine I think) were of the very best quality and I couldnt have hoped for a better day at the Spa.
