Taking a little time away from the hamster wheel is always a pleasure, but it’s even more fabulous here at the majestic REN Spa. We all need a little luxury now and then, and you can find yours right here.
There’s a fabulous selection of treatments on the menu, each of which will leave you feeling utterly spoilt. Later, head to the spectacular inside-out swimming pool and relax like never before.
Whether you’re an occasional exerciser or a dedicated athlete, you’ll want to spend some quality time in the hotel’s fitness room. Brief tone-ups and intensive sessions are always a pleasure here.
Exeter and the surrounding area are home to a number of exceptionally picturesque cycling and jogging routes, too. Later, the hotel’s fabulous lawn inside the walled garden will offer you the ultimate warm-down.
Classic spa journeys should always feature classic dining experiences, and you’ll find them right here. The hotel’s superb Bistro du Vin offers everything from brilliant breakfasts to stunning suppers and all points in between.
The emphasis here is on inspirational French homestyle cooking served with an elegant British flourish. Every mealtime is a pleasure, so be sure to savour every single mouthful that comes your way.

The Hotel du Vin spa is exceptional.
The staff were excellent from the reception to the beauticians to the bar lady.
The two treatments (30mins) (hot stone and express facial) were genuinely the best I have ever had. The therapist was professional, attentive and knowledgeable.
The spa was clean and tidy. The products were amazing.
Afternoon tea was far more than expected and of great quality.
We loved it and we will be back.Tanya Poole, Somerset

My booking experience with SpaSeekers was straightforward and easy. We enjoyed a swim outside before our treatments....there is something good about swimming in the fresh air. The Jacuzzi part of the pool was indoors and you could swim straight outside which was fun. My treatment was excellent. One of the best massages I've ever had! Good selection of nail varnishes to choose from for the manicure. Everything was in good condition and very clean. Nice fluffy towels! Afternoon cream tea was fantastic. The freshly made warm scones were divine and the library where we ate was very ambient. I would definitely return and recommend it to others. We were fortunate to find a parking space outside the front of the hotel, otherwise it would have been the pay and display car park just a few feet away.

Great city location

I’d never visited Exeter before but I wanted to get away from it all for a weekend recently, and I realise now I definitely chose the right venue. The Hotel du Vin is close to everything the city has to offer, it’s within walking distance of many local landmarks yet inside it’s as quiet and as peaceful as can be. As soon as I arrived, I started to feel like my tensions were starting to disappear. This is a really serene place, and the spa is perfect for anyone who needs to be indulged. I have to say I can’t wait to go back again.
