The gloriously Georgian Sopwell House sits in 12 acres just outside St Albans – and with a stylish Plush room as your base, you’ll have the chance to really settle in! With use of the Cottonmill Spa from midday on arrival until 11am on departure, you can relax in the indoor pool, vitality pools, sauna and starlit steam room, plus there’s 60-minute treatment to look forward to.

And then there’s the food. One evening you’ll dine in vibrant Omboo, where Asian sharing plates inspired by the spice routes arrive fresh from the kitchen. The next, enjoy a relaxed dinner in the Brasserie. There’s even a three-course lunch in the spa’s Pantry too, where you can dine in your robe, plus breakfast both mornings. Dine and unwind?
