Rural Buckinghamshire provides the setting for the sumptuous Burnham Beeches Hotel, a Georgian idyll that’s perfect for both days and stays of full-on contentment. Located amid ten acres of manicured splendour, this is the type of retreat that deserves to be right at the top of your must-visit list. Restoring your mojo has surely never been more pleasurable than it will be here.
You’ll be spoilt for choice for things to do locally, including as much retail therapy as you can handle in nearby Slough. You might want to head to Ascot to cheer on the gee-gees, or perhaps enjoy a family day out in Legoland. The historic town of Windsor, with its spectacular castle and plenty of high end stores, also offers plenty of temptations.
The fabulous Burnham Beeches features so many amenities, and with 82 sumptuous Laura Ashley-designed bedrooms and suites you just know an overnight stay will be all about the relaxation. There’s a tranquil spa here, high quality fitness facilities and a highly-rated restaurant. We have a feeling you’re going to find it difficult to ever leave.

Creating the ideal workout is easy when the fitness facility is friendly, welcoming and comfortable. Everything you need for a session to remember can be found right here, so get ready for a very enjoyable experience.
If you prefer to be out in the open air, why not explore the ten acres of beautifully maintained gardens that surround the hotel? And when you need time to relax afterwards, the Jacuzzi and hot tub will tempt you into lingering longer.
The exquisite Burnham Beeches Hotel is a spectacular retreat, so you’d be right to expect the dining here to be just as spectacular. As soon as you arrive at the Oak Restaurant, proud holder of two AA Rosettes, you just know it’s going to be special.
Elegant surroundings, comfortable seating and a menu featuring a number of classic British specialities with a contemporary twist, combine to make this a must-try. If you have an inner foodie, this place will bring it out in you.
Lovely hotel and masseur, great value for money. Had unlimited use of swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi and sauna. Was informed that the spa packages no longer available which is a shame as I would of recommended the spa break.

Lovely weekend retreat
The first thing you notice about the Burnham Beeches Hotel is the serenity. It’s wonderfully quiet yet it’s only a short drive from West London for me. I spent a lovely weekend here with my sister and the only time we went outside was to have a walk around the grounds! The gym is excellent and the restaurant is a must for anyone. This is one of those places that I will definitely want to visit again at some point in the future.

Decent but wasted potential
Similar to other reviews I think this hotel is more of a 3 star with massive wasted potential.
Good: the newer superior rooms, evening dining, friendly staff.
Bad: Reception and pool areas......Read more
