About
Lincolnshire is packed with culture, castles, cafés and charm. But once you’ve had a taste of England’s second largest county (and its famous herby sausages), there’s no better place to kick-back than Belton Woods Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort. Just one word of warning. Check-in here and the sightseeing might have to wait for a while. With luxurious leisure facilities at every turn, you’ll be too busy unwinding to think about leaving!
Nestled in 475 acres of woodland, Belton Woods resort is so huge you’ll need a map to explore everything that’s on offer. With a health club, tennis courts, driving range, fitness classes, squash courts, nature trails and even an activity field, you’ll struggle to fit it all in! Great for group getaways, there’s ample space for fun-loving friends. You can even stay together in Deluxe Twin rooms with two double beds and huge en-suites. Let the pyjama party commence!
But when fluffy robes start calling your name, Belton Woods is ready to pamper, soothe and spoil you. Dive into the gloriously Roman-style indoor pool, let off steam in the sauna and jacuzzi, or surrender to an Elemis ritual in one of eight tranquil treatment rooms. Prefer fairways to facials? The resort has its own 36-hole PGA golf complex, making a Belton Woods spa break the perfect escape for those who love to pamper and par.
Despite its pin-drop peaceful setting, Belton Woods is effortlessly accessible, sitting just three miles from historic Grantham and a short drive from many of the county’s best bits. Fancy a little culture? Explore nearby Belton House, a National Trust stately home set within manicured gardens, or visit Woolsthorpe Manor, where Sir Isaac Newton had his apple-tree moment. Further afield, Lincoln’s cathedral is a must-visit, and the retail therapy in Nottingham is under an hour’s drive.
After a day spent drifting between relaxation and recreation, it’s time to wine and dine in true Lincolnshire fashion. The Belton Woods Bar & Grill serves up classic British favourites, while the Claret Jug offers laid-back bites with sweeping golf course views. In need of a little livener? Toast your day well-spent with a premium gin, hand-selected wine or a dangerously-good cocktail or two.
Whether you’re seeking food indulgence, health and fitness, a golfing getaway, or just the perfect countryside retreat, a Belton Woods spa break combines leisure with some of the finer things in life. Believe us. Every visit here feels like an escape - and one that’s well worth repeating.

Back massage and facial brilliant. Only fault was the food was not what you expected and the swimming pool was open to the public so after a relaxing back massage all I wanted to do was go for a swim to find the pool was full of children due to holidays so I didn’t use the pool the whole pint was to relax.

It's a nice sized and shaped spa pool so you can get a decent swim in. It's light and airy so you can relax with a book by the pool. My deep tissue massage was excellent and I feel so much looser and happier today.

Fabulous massage treatment, therapist, Paula really went the extra mile. Jacuzzi out of order, no compensation offered so I requested free coffee on arrival which we did get. Overall facilities are quite good. Swimming pool temperature a little cold for me and area outside sauna and steam room was freezing.

We loved Belton Woods Spa, first time for us. The lunch was great, but the room was not a great place. We were expecting views, it was like a canteen. The spa wet areas are very busy, and noisy with classes, but the hot bath and sauna were lovely.

What a lovely spa. The relaxation room was wonderful, my facial was good and the food was lovely. I left feeling relaxed 😎 What I would say, is the experience seems more of a transactional experience, rather than ensuring it's personable to the individual. I wasn't shown around the amenities or where I could order a coffee. I wasn't asked if I wanted to talk or have peace during my treatment and I also wasn't given the opportunity to book any other treatments. If a more of a personal service was provided, Belton would be perfect for a spa day.

The Spa at Belton was very good, the masseuse that did my fit for business massage put me in such a tranquil state which was just what I needed to then properly rest the rest of my evening.
