Banatyne spa Peterborough felt warm and welcoming on arrival. Clean and modern with good facilities including a pool, 2 jacuzzis, 2 sauna rooms, and 2 steam rooms, as well as a gym, changing rooms, and an upstairs relaxation room in the beauty and treatment area. We had a great day with facial and massage each, the facial was fab, the massage soothing but not deep enough. We each hired a robe and towel and got a free bag and flip flops. It was a Saturday so busy but not overwhelming, Would recommend!

My partner and I visited the Bannatyne Peterbrough today for a spa day. We had access to the spa facilties from 9am and our treatments were booked for 10:15am. We decided to give the spa facilties a miss and just have our treatments. The spa staff were lovely, took us to the relaxation room while we waiting for our treatments, we both had a sweedish back massage and a hand and arm massage. Massage was so relaxing, a bit of noise from the gym next door but it didn't take away from the lovely massage. There are elemis products and gift sets to purchase after your treatment. We had a coffee at the cafe downstairs which was lovely, the pool and jacuzzi area was busy around 11am while we were leaving, so probably best to access the facilities early in the morning.

Treatments were amazing! Best bit by far! Very expensive for some white flip flops and a bag.

Everything went completely fine, we used all the facilities which was amazing, had our light lunch included in our package which was lovely then went onto our treatments. The women who did them were so welcoming and patient with us being that it was my first time, I was a little disappointed that during our full “relaxing” body massage the fire alarm started to go off, causing distress for not only the workers but for ourselves too. We had to fill out a covid 19 form to make sure we were safe to go through showing no symptoms however the lady doing my partners treatment seemed unwell by coughing alot & being bunged up. It didn’t entirely bother us as there are such things as colds, she’s only human it’s not her fault however I felt bad for her and if we were displaying them symptoms we wouldn’t of been allowed in the facility at all.

Spa pamper day for one Bannatyne, Peterborough

I was treated to a spa pamper day for one with a voucher. I had a Swedish back massage, leg massage, Indian head massage and a facial. I also had the use of the swimming pool as well before I had my treatments. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I felt so relaxed afterwards and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone.

We were hoping for a relaxing spa day, but it’s more of a sports centre than a spa. There were very few seats/loungers around the pool area. The pool was very busy for mid-week and 15 minutes after arriving an aqua aerobics class began with very loud music blaring out. We moved to the spa relaxation room which was nice. The treatments we were received were good and staff were all friendly and helpful. The cafe and food was slightly disappointed (although I was comparing it to Bannatyne Bury). Would definitely recommended the Bury spa to the Peterborough one.
