We all know how stressful life can get sometimes, but you can find a glorious sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle right here. The spa at the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel is designed to relax you right from the start.
You’ll be tempted like never before by the list of sumptuous treatments and therapies which are on offer. And you can linger longer afterwards amid the soothing waters of both the hydrotherapy pool and the indoor swimming pool.
When the atmosphere is right and the welcome is warm, it’s so much easier to create a workout that really hits the spot. The state of the art fitness suite is suitable for all standards, so prepare to be impressed.
If you’d rather be savouring the great outdoors, you’ll be so pleased by the hotel’s waterfront location. Long walks are very special here, and there are plenty of jogging and cycling routes to keep you happy and healthy.
As soon as the hunger pangs start to make themselves known, make sure you pay a visit to the hotel’s rightly popular eatery. The Upper Deck is a bar and restaurant that lends itself perfectly to the art of dining.
The food is mouth-watering, the surroundings are stylish and the views across the water are breath-taking. And should you be in the mood for the ultimate indulgence, make sure you have room for an elegant afternoon tea.

Lovely therapists, relaxing spa. Really enjoyed the outside pool. Would definitely visit again.
The staff were all lovely and the facilities have everything you need, although the spa is small so I imagine could get quite crowded at weekends. Lovely views from the restaurant and outdoor pool, of the sea.
The first thing I noticed about the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel were the views across the ocean, they were really special. I spent a day there enjoying a couple of fab treatments in the spa and it was heavenly. I also over-indulged with an afternoon tea and loved every single bit of it. I’m told the bedrooms there are really comfy so the next time I visit – and there WILL be a next time – I plan to book a long weekend. I recommend this place to everyone, and I’m already looking forward to going back. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.
The treatments and spa experience were very good. However, when it came to lunch we asked for a table outside on the decking area in the sunshine but were told that because we were choosing food from the 'spa' menu we had to have a table inside. Alternatively, we could choose from the other menu and have food up to the value of £15 and sit outside. This was disappointing as there were many available tables outside and I'm not sure what they would have done if we had each chosen food from the different menus - sat us at different tables?! Also, no soft drinks, other than tap water, were included in the lunch menu.
A very disappointing lunch experience considering what we had paid.
