This intimate, low-lit den of opulence is housed entirely within the former Bank Manager’s office of the old Lloyds Bank. You’ll find velvet banquettes, decadent chandeliers and flamboyant wallpaper, along with plenty of playful nods to the hotel’s banking history.

Harbour Kitchen

Just a few steps away, the Harbour Kitchen offers a completely different scale of grandeur. The hotel's stylish seafood bar and grill has an incredible setting in the Grade-II listed former banking hall, featuring stunning high ceilings, stone columns and intricate masonry. Look out for the Bristol Blue glass windows that cast a unique light over the room.

Bright and buzzing with an open kitchen and a marble bar, the decor features aqua and green upholstery that mirrors the seaside dishes on the menu. Don’t miss the famous Harbour Fish Pie – the comforting classic that Harbour Hotels are famous for!

If taking a dip in a tranquil, azure rectangle is a true spa day essential for you, you’re in luck. The Harbour Hotel Bristol has a fantastic 7m resistance swimming pool tucked away in the vault, complete with ambient lighting that just adds to the serenity. Take a leisurely dip, then head to the bubbling hydrotherapy pool for a comforting soak.

It does, which makes it very tempting to turn your pamper package into an overnight stay. This boutique bolthole has 42 luxury bedrooms, ranging from cosy Standard rooms to top‑tier Corner Suites with bird’s‑eye views over Corn Street from tall bay windows.

Rooms and suites feature bold, urban interiors with velveteen fabrics, elegant furnishings and warm, inviting colour palettes. Many overlook Bristol’s Old City, so you can people‑watch while sipping a Nespresso coffee or pouring a sherry from the complimentary in‑room decanter.

Whatever category you choose, Bristol Harbour Hotel knows how to spoil its guests. Here for a full or half-day spa package? Lucky you! You’ll need to check your booking confirmation as arrival times can vary. For overnight stays at the hotel, check-in time is from 3pm and check-out time is by 11am, with late check-outs subject to availability on the day.

Unfortunately, due to the period nature of the building, the Bristol Harbour Hotel is not fully accessible, although some rooms with walk-in showers are accessible by lift.

There’s no formal dress code as such, but you might feel more comfortable in smart casual clothing at both the Bristol Harbour Kitchen and the Gold Bar. Both say no to flip flops, trainers, vests or ripped jeans.

Children are welcome in the Bristol Harbour Kitchen Restaurant, but the hotel is more of an adults’ escape. Some rooms can accommodate a cot or extra bed, but there aren’t any dedicated family rooms, and children aged under 18 can’t use the spa, gym or have a treatment.

Sorry! Bristol Harbour Hotel doesn’t welcome furry friends, except for service dogs.

This is a city‑centre hotel, so there’s no golf course on site. But if you’re looking for something fun to do with friends, you’re in luck. Bristol Harbour Hotel is within easy walking distance of loads of great activities, including mini golf, darts, retro arcade games and escape rooms. Perfect for adding a little friendly competition to your stay!
