My sister had been to The Gloss recently, and she was bugging me to go with her and see what all the fuss was about. She had been raving about it, so I went along and I have to say she was right. It’s such a peaceful retreat, and I started to relax as soon as I arrived. Having been feeling more and more stressed out in the weeks before, I realise now that I needed this day more than I thought. The people working there, by the way, were delightful, too. I’ve been working far too hard lately, so I decided to take a day off and just worry about the things I wanted for a change. I’m so glad I did. I started with some shopping in Knightsbridge, which was fantastic, then I spent an afternoon at the Gloss. It was such a lovely experience, something that I really needed.
