We told you that our "Feature Spa" this week was a unique one, But would you believe it was once a working farm?
Matt, tells us a little more on the history and location:
The Spa is located in Rural Lincolnshire where I grew up as a farmers son, my family have been farming in Lincolnshire for over 100 years we try to bring some of this into the spa, we grow our own herbs for some of the treatments (and to use in a gin and tonic). We have horses at the front of the spa and we used a lot of local materials during construction. Our lunch menu is, where possible, based around Lincolnshire produce, primarily organic, locally grown and sourced.
Finally, after a week of catching up with Gintare our "Feature Spa" Manager we asked for her Top Tips on making the most of a spa day...She did not disappoint!
"If guests are looking to indulge in a treatment and procure the benefits, it is highly recommended for the guests to book their treatment in the afternoon or late evening. That way the guests can take a dip into the pool and enjoy heat experiences beforehand. If you book your treatment too early, those luxurious spa oils that shell into the body will eliminate from the face or body."
We will gladly take that advice and put it in to practice! Why not join us? Find your perfect Spa Experience and book some absolute luxury in the Heart of the Capital : http://bit.ly/30h8eam
Another tricky one but Gintare, our "Feature Spa" Manager picks her favourite Spa Package and treatment:
"Favourite Package – Champagne Afternoon Tea It is a perfect combination of relaxation in The Spa with your loved one or a friend. The experience includes a 1 hour treatment and full use of facilities followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea with a glass of Champagne in the Meridian Lounge to end the day feeling relaxed. Favourite treatment – Aromatherapy Massage as it is a personalised and a unique treatment with ESPA essential oils which takes your mind to tranquility zone."
