Classes more your cup of tea? The fitness studio is the home of some fantastic instructors who’ll lead you through everything from spin to yoga. And for those who need a little extra helping hand, personal trainers are there to answer questions or create a plan that will help you reach your fitness goals.

Mirrors Bar

Live out your Great Gatsby fantasies because the stunning décor in Mirrors Bar exudes style and glamour. With soft lighting and art deco features, its fabulously retro feel sets the scene for lingering lunches, post-spa drinks or an evening spent giggling over hand-crafted cocktails at the weekend.

The Orangery

With views overlooking the lush, landscaped gardens and the Staffordshire countryside beyond, The Orangery makes the perfect setting for buffet breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Flooded with natural light, gastro pub favourites ensure you won’t leave hungry. But the real star of the show? The classic curries and Indian dishes lovingly prepared by a head chef who really knows his onions.

There is and it’s a beauty. Although compact at 7.5m long, the swimming pool at Serene Spa at Park Hall features swish black mosaic tiling and beautiful lighting to give you plenty of opportunities for poolside posing. And, after you’ve done your laps, there’s the hot tub, sauna or steam and steam room to enjoy.

Extending your visit to Serene Spa is easy, because you’ll find it at the Park Hall Hotel which has 74 clean, comfortable rooms on offer. Check-in and chill out in twin, double or junior suites. Or head to the first floor, where bedrooms were completely refurbished in January 2020 providing 20 executive suites full of art deco design touches. All bedrooms are ensuite and air-conditioned for a great night’s sleep.

Check-out time at the Park Hall Hotel is 11am. Want to check out later? Contact reception before 11am. Overslept and forgotten to call? Between 11am and 2pm, a £10 per hour charge applies and after 2pm you’ll be charged for another night.

The Serene Spa itself is strictly adults-only and this includes the pool - even if you’re a resident at the hotel. However, there are two modern leisure centres within five miles where children can splash around to their hearts’ content. 

The Park Hall Hotel does welcome children. Sofa beds can hold up to two children up to the age of 12 years, and there’s plenty for them to do when they’ve woken after their great night’s sleep. Get up close to the wildlife at the West Midland Safari or take them to Dudley Zoo, in the grounds of a real-life castle. There’s also Cadbury World - perfect for your little chocoholic. 

Sadly, no. Dogs aren’t welcome at the Park Hall Hotel or in the Serene Spa.

No, there’s no golf club at the Park Hall Hotel here but there is one nearby. Penn Golf Club is a seven-minute drive away (or walk if you’re feeling energetic as it’s under two miles). Visitors are welcome to pay and play at this friendly course overlooking the Clee Hills.
