The spa was clean & staff friendly. The treatments were lovely & therapist made us free relaxed. More staff needed in bar area but they done the best they could with what they had.

The spa staff and pool area were delightful, very welcoming. There was an aqua class on during our visit which did interrupt the peace somewhat. The treatments (facial/massage) were enjoyed by both of us. Much needed self care time. Only thing, and this happens most places, is by booking us one hour apart we effectively lost 2 hrs of “chum” time. I was called the day before to confirm the lunchtime. There was some confusion and we ended up with afternoon tea but that’s not the end of the world. What’s more frustrating is that a cold cream tea which we’d confirmed the time for the day before and upon arrival today still didn’t come out until 1/2hr later than the arranged time. I’d give it another go but I’d stay in the pool area until sure the tea was served or actually push for the light lunch we thought we were getting. Spa side great, meal/hotel side a let down.

Made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Jacob, rooms clean and comfortable breakfast and evening meal excellent. Only thing that could have been improved was lunch at bar, ordered a panini which was more like a baguette and not toasted, but edible and a minor thing. The spa treatment and facilities were excellent and again staff very friendly and professional. Thank you Laura for a lovely salt and oil scrub. Loved the Sauna. Left feeling very relaxed, just what I needed.

Mum and I come here twice a year for our birthdays. We have the 2 night wellness break and it’s amazing. The staff are fantastic at every level, the spa treatments are lovely and the food is really good too. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Can’t wait until our next visit in November.

We arrived and went straight into the spa. We were given a robe, towel & slippers. But we had taken our own towel & flip flops as we were not told these were provided in our email. Unfortunately they can not tell the size of the robe as there all packed after being dry cleaned, So mine did not fit and I had to cover myself with a towel. The ladies changing rooms smelt damp but were generally clean. The treatments were amazing and so was the spa area. The afternoon tea was very sparse, the cakes were bitesize, one mouthful & the scone was rock hard. Probably the most disappointing afternoon tea I've had. But overall a lovely afternoon out, and despite the disappointing afternoon tea, I would go back.
