Everything was lovely. From the staff at the spa. The reception and the girls serving in the restaurant. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The only disappointment was the size of the pool but you can't have everything. A very enjoyable stay my friends and I would rebook again.
My friend and I were looking for a weekend getaway to recharge our batteries a little, and we were both mightily impressed by this place. The rooms were comfortable, the restaurant was superb and the spa was so relaxing. To be honest, we arrived on Friday and didn’t leave the hotel until the Sunday, so we didn’t see much of the outside world at all, and this suited us fine. We were able to relax as soon as we got there, and that’s just what we wanted to do. If you’re planning a visit, make sure you have a treatment or two in the spa!
We stayed at the above hotel a couple of days ago, it was very comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. When we checked in and entered our room we found it very chilly/cold and tried to put on the heating but found that it wasnt working properly, we then called down to reception and they were kind enough to bring a couple of heaters which resolved the problem.
The Spa and treatments were good - my friend had a cold room but enjoyed her massage.
As part of our package, we booked ourselves into have a meal in the hotel restaurant - the food was lovely but quite slow in getting to our table and the room was rather chilly as well so both of us had to go and get a jumper to wear.
Was booked in for 2 treatment but they had to cancel 1. The treatment we did have was very good. Spa lunch was ok but bar area is by the main entrance and we didn’t feel very comfortable sitting in our robes.
Overall nice experience but spa facilities a little limited.
