Took my daughter for an overnight spa break we could not fault anything from the staff to the hotel itself maybe the one thing was the pool could of been hotter. The massage was excellent so all in all no complaints.
We indulge in a two night spa break every year (15 now) and this was the best of all. The hotel and spa staff were excellent as were the facilities.
Had a lovely stay with my daughter (Christmas pressie from my hubby), the treatments were absolutely amazing. All of the staff from the minute we arrived were excellent, from reception, in the Spa, the restaurant and especially the bubbly girl with black hair in the bar, the rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was excellent, dinner was disappointing for me, had pork chop,( only 1 chop) with shallots was really fatty, lucky it came with fries.
Booked this quite late for a mother daughter day. The staff were really friendly and helpful, had a tour and explained the whole facility to us. Lovely robes and slippers and changing rooms a high standard. Pool area and the sauna/steam room are all quite new and well maintained.
The spa treatment area and relaxation room were really lovely, water and fruit and the relaxation room a good size unlike some other places we have been and if small is all a bit awkward when other people come in!
The treatment rooms again are a great size and no noise from the rest of the spa to affect the treatment.
The therapist we both had was really caring, took time to cover the treatment and steps. She was also one of the best therapists I have experienced and the facial and add on treatment was sublime!
Lunch - soup and sandwiches was nice, the bar area again good standard and friendly staff. Would definitely go back.
From the offset all the staff were wonderfully friendly...especially Aiden on reception with help and humour. The spa treatment was top quality with lovely products and the food at the hotel is extremely good. We had intended to eat elsewhere, however as the quality of the food was so good for our 3 day stay we ate at the hotel.
We were very disappointed in this Spa Hotel. Carpets on the floor we stayed in were threadbare, the tea/coffee in the room hadn’t been replenished. The menu in the restaurant was very limited and...... Read more
