Lovely hotel with loads of character.
The room was huge and really clean and modern.
The leisure facilities were good and clean.
I got a facial and my husband got a back massage which we both really enjoyed. The girls were very professional and made the experience so relaxing.
Dinner was really nice and we had a drink in the bar afterwards.
I would recommend this hotel and spa and would definitely return.
Everything was great from the initial booking of the spa day to the spa day itself. We had the spa day for two which included two 25 minute treatments each, use of the health & fitness facilities (gym, swimming pool, steam room & sauna), cream tea and a glass of bubbly. All the staff were great and very friendly. We had a lovely day.
From start to finish it was amazing. 2 girls in very much need of a relaxing day. Day to shut off from our jobs and children. The massages we both received were fab. All staff we dealt with throughout or day were fab.
We came to the Houstoun House as have been to a few Macdonald hotels and wanted to try another 1. Hotel is lovely, staff friendly, very clean and tidy, everything was lovely.
I had a fantastic day with my daughter. Staff were extremely pleasant and showed us around the place.
Houston House is set in the woodlands and has an extremely relaxing atmosphere. The place is spotless and modern.
We started the day with a session at the gym, followed by sauna, steam room, swim then treatments - we both felt so relaxed!
We were to bar in hotel for lunch but there were no staff around so after waiting ten minutes we left which was disappointing.
However an extremely good day!
