My friend and I were having a dinner/ B&B Spa Day. We received a warm welcome at the Vital Spa. We completed questionnaires and on completion were given a guided tour of the facilities by a very pleasant young lady. All areas of the Spa were very well presented and well equipped. We had lunch in the bar which was delicious, tasty and beautifully presented. Our treatments were fantastic and on completion we were so relaxed. The girls who provided our treatments were extremely pleasant and friendly. The swimming pool was lovely too, a very comfortable temperature. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Dinner was exceptional. Breakfast was ok.
Was a very relaxing day. The staff were excellent. Facial was fabulous. The dining experience let it down.
Room ready for us. Beautiful 18th century building. Bar a joy and real fire. Staff so welcoming and genuinely interested. Happy to take photos. The meal at Jeremy Wares was one of the best we have ever had. Presented faultlessly and place busy on a Monday. Locals in the pool. The grounds are stunning. Daffodils out and trees in bud. Our breakfast was amazing too although a bit of a wait for cereal plates and glasses for juice.
Lovely hotel with loads of character.
The room was huge and really clean and modern.
The leisure facilities were good and clean.
I got a facial and my husband got a back massage which we both really enjoyed. The girls were very professional and made the experience so relaxing.
Dinner was really nice and we had a drink in the bar afterwards.
I would recommend this hotel and spa and would definitely return.
Everything was great from the initial booking of the spa day to the spa day itself. We had the spa day for two which included two 25 minute treatments each, use of the health & fitness facilities (gym, swimming pool, steam room & sauna), cream tea and a glass of bubbly. All the staff were great and very friendly. We had a lovely day.
