There were 7 of us in the party altogether and everything was so well organised from start to finish. The treatments were so good and tailored to the needs of us all as individuals. The only negative I have, is that a couple of the therapists, had their mobile phones on vibrate. First of all, I wondered what your safeguarding was, concerning mobile phones. It just spoiled what would have been a perfect experience overall.

Myself and 3 friends booked the overnight stay spa experience at The Park Royal Hotel in Stretton. The facilities were good, the food was excellent and the rooms were much better than expected. I had a facial with head massage and the therapist was brilliant. The whole thing was excellent value for money.

It is a busy gym/ spa with children's swimming lessons and lots of members in and out of the gym and pool. I put relaxing spa music on my headphones to block out some noise. It is not a luxury spa but it is very pleasant and the staff at receptions were very friendly and helpful. £1 needed for lockers - glad I read the reviews beforehand. The spa pool was nice and warm and steam room was great. Had a great swim when it was not as busy in the afternoon. Pool side chairs were comfortable but would have really loved to have put the head down to lie down. My massage was lovely but the therapist was not particularly friendly so felt a little awkward. Lunch was nice (chicken salad and fruit salad) and included a glass of prosecco. The whole day is excellent value for money compared to other spa days.

I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but we needn’t have worried as we had a great experience. No, it’s not a high end luxury spa, but it is excellent value for money. The treatments alone were worth the price - I had an incredibly relaxing deep tissue back massage and express facial with Phoebe and was impressed with the treatment room and relaxation area. The spa is part of a leisure club so the pool, sauna, Jacuzzi etc was busy even on a Wednesday day time. However we didn’t have any issues accessing the facilities when we wanted to and had space to read our books on a lounger by the pool. Overall, we had a lovely relaxing day which is exactly what we were looking for. All of the staff we met were friendly and professional. We would happily return in the future.
