My husband and I came for a Spa Day to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed it, coming away feeling much more relaxed.
The facilities were excellent and very clean. We particularly liked the relaxation room. Everything was beautifully designed with a lovely selection of tea.
We were both booked for a shoulder, neck and scalp massage which was fantastic and she really got rid of lots of knots and tension.
We both plan to come back as we both said it was the best Spa we have visited!

So pleased to have discovered this hidden gem
Despite living in the area for a number of years, I’d never heard of the Balmer Lawn Hotel until recently. I went there for a long weekend with a couple of friends, and I’m so glad I did. It’s tucked away in the tranquil countryside, and for that reason alone I was happy to visit. The peace and quiet surrounds you from the start, and in no time I’d forgotten all about work and home. The Saltus Spa is fantastic, especially the massage I had, and cocktails on the terrace were something special. We planned to tour the New Forest during our stay, but in truth we ended up never leaving the hotel!

I booked a spa day as a bit of a treat for my other half. We started with a tour of the facilities and then a neck, back and shoulder massage. After the massage we were free to use the facilities so we made use of the Jacuzzi and sauna before getting ready for lunch. We both had a lunch pre-booked. The lunch was delicious a really nicely prepared healthy lunch with smoothie. After lunch we both used the gym before leaving. I would definitely go again however I’d like to have an overnight stay there next time.
