My sister had been to The Gloss recently, and she was bugging me to go with her and see what all the fuss was about. She had been raving about it, so I went along and I have to say she was right. It’s such a peaceful retreat, and I started to relax as soon as I arrived. Having been feeling more and more stressed out in the weeks before, I realise now that I needed this day more than I thought. The people working there, by the way, were delightful, too. I’m already looking forward to a return visit as soon as I get the time.

I’ve been working far too hard lately, so I decided to take a day off and just worry about the things I wanted for a change. I’m so glad I did. I started with some shopping in Knightsbridge, which was fantastic, then I spent an afternoon at the Gloss. It was such a lovely experience, something that I really needed. I think the next time I go there (and there will definitely be a next time) I will spend the whole day there instead. To say I felt soothed by the end of the day is a big understatement – I actually felt like a completely new woman.

My sister and I enjoyed a weekend break in London recently, and we decided to include some much-needed spa time while we were there. We liked the idea of relaxing in the heart of the busy city, so we chose the Gloss…what a great choice we made! As soon as we walked in, it felt like we were in a retreat in the countryside. It was so relaxing and the girls who worked there were absolutely lovely. I’ve got no hesitation in recommending the place to anyone. If you get the chance to go, just go!
