About

Eight charming lakes. One stunning waterfall. A verdant expanse of 220 glorious acres to enjoy. Welcome to Hellidon Lakes Hotel, a place where tranquillity, luxury and pampering combine. This contemporary haven is set deep within the Northamptonshire countryside. But if this is all starting to sound a bit too outdoorsy, relax. Alongside nature at its finest you’ll also find out-of-this-world leisure facilities and a spa so plush it will take your breath away.

With endless opportunities for both rest and relaxation, or action and activity, unwinding at Hellidon Lakes is a breeze. A glitzy refurb has transformed the health club into something truly spectacular, with a glamorous thermal suite, huge hydro pool, Germaine de Capuccini rituals and stunning rural views. Sports fans can play a round on the 27-hole Championship golf course, challenge friends to a game of doubles on the outdoor tennis courts or enjoy a fun night of friendly competition at the four-lane ten-pin bowling alley.

Its prime location between Birmingham and Milton Keynes puts Hellidon Lakes within easy reach of a number of highly impressive landmarks, too. Just 15 miles from Silverstone, you’re in pole position for a trip to the world-famous motor-racing circuit. The National Trust property at Stowe is a must for history buffs, as is the fascinating Bancroft Roman Villa. Prefer a spot of retail therapy? Milton Keynes and Bicester Village are within an hour’s drive, too.

Back at Hellidon Lakes, the cosy Lounge Bar beckons for morning coffee, afternoon tea or evening cocktails, while the Lakes Restaurant serves delicious home comforts alongside lashings of countryside views. And when you’re ready, you can float off to bed in one of 110 contemporary bedrooms, from comfortable Standards to spectacular Suites.

We had a great afternoon - food was amazing, the staff were attentive and the facilities unusual and imaginative. Just a few minor issues - one of the two ladies toilets had a broken door, there was no liquid soap in the showers and no toilet roll in the men’s toilets. It was also a shame that one of the saunas wasn’t working.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Hellidon. The spa was perfect and the food was really good. Staff were exceptional. I loved the fact it was quiet and not busy so you could explore at your own speed. We will definitely be back again.

Above and beyond expectations

From the moment we arrived until we left, this was above and beyond our expectations. What particularly stood out was the friendly, helpful and flexible way in which all of the staff acted. The massages were genuinely "stress relieving", adapted to our needs and I did well not to fall asleep on the table - then slept very soundly that night. Both dinner and the huge breakfast were top quality and the room, its view over the golf course and facilities clean and comfortable. Spa excellent and the golf course looks a fun test too. Will definitely come back.

The spa and massage was very welcoming and professional, they did a great job. The food was to a very high standard too which was great. The only thing I can pull them up on is the pool facilities are dire need of upgrading as they are old and not very clean, but it did not effect the overall experience. Would definitely visit again.
