Great day out
Spa was very attractive and staff friendly and helpful. Treatments overall very good, although the 'mini' treatments seemed a little rushed. If having a pedicure with nail varnish,, particularly if just before lunch, it's a good idea to take sandals or flip flops as none are provided and the restaurant is a walk away outside. But an enjoyable day out we'd like to repeat.

La Fontana Health Spa at The Marriott Sprowston Manor Hotel is surrounded by an 18 hole golf course within beautiful surroundings. The spa has 7 treatment rooms and highly trained therapists for your individual needs; we offer a vast range of beauty and holistic treatments, helping to relax mind body and soul, leaving you to go home feeling utterly spoilt and relaxed.Accommodation
The hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment in 2008 and the hotels bedrooms are extremely modern and comfortable from standard rooms to luxury suites, all bedrooms are en suite with TV’s and mini bars, room service is available if you prefer to stay in the room or you can choose from Restaurant 1559 for fine dining, or if you prefer more of a casual evening then you can venture over to our Zest bar and grill open till 11pm in the evenings serving snacks and meals throughout the day and evening.
Cuisine
The Zest bar and grill is a bar that overlooks the golf course, serving snacks from jacket potatoes to salads and main meals like steak/ burgers and fish all day long. This is where day packages can attend for there lunch. Alternatively if you wish to stay in the hotel there is a fine dining restaurant available in the evenings serving a la carte cuisine.
Relaxation & Pampering
The spa offers a vast range of treatments suited for individual needs. Using the well known range that is ESPA, Decleor and Guinot, renown for there aromatherapy ingredients, once you’ve been with our trained therapists they will tailor make the treatment for your specific needs, helping improve skin condition, relax the mind, leaving the skin soft and refreshed and your self utterly pampered and relaxed.
Exercise & Activities
Within the hotel there is a fully equipped gymnasium full of cardio and weight equipment. Along with a heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna and steam room. Aqua fit takes place on selected days in the week (this must be pre booked). If you’re a keen golfer we have an 18 hole golf course along with a driving range- this too must be pre booked.
Timeout
Sprowston Manor hotel has the park and ride a 5 minute walk from the hotel entrance this will then take you to Norwich city centre, available for shopping, cinema, restaurants etc. The coast is 20 minutes from the Hotel by car and the broads is 10-15 minutes where you will find restaurants, lovely views and walks.
Unique Attractions
Situated 15 minutes from the city centre but near the country an ideal location for a relaxing spa break or a weekend away at the hotel with shopping in Norwich. Based near the Broads ideal in summer time, along with beautiful coastal walks only a drive away from the hotel. Treatments were amazing, staff were excellent. Facilities were good although knew what to expect and it isn't a glamorous spa. Would have liked refreshments during the day other than water and lunch was not great given the cost of the day, had to pay for all drinks other than water and choices of food was poor given the selection offered by the restaurant.Guest Rating -

We really enjoyed the treatments and the service we received was excellent. Unfortunately due to a recent minor operation i was unable to use the spa facilities. As this was a birthday treat it was not possible to cancel to book for another day so we were really disappointed not to be able to use all the facilies at Sprowston Manor.Guest Rating
