Very relaxing & enjoyable I visited this hotel on Monday 12/9/11 with my daughter on a \"De-Stress & Unwind\" Day. The Reception Staff were friendly & welcoming. The treatments were lovely and the therapist very professional and friendly - a really relaxing experience. The spa area & facilities were very good but lacked a Jacuzzi. The Relaxation Room was superb, low lights and gentle, calming music in the background. Lovely comfy couches with warm duvets for extra comfort! Our lunch was served in the hotel\'s Restaurant (which you had to walk outside to get to). The food was lovely, served fresh and with generous portions. We were pleasantly surprised as we thought we were getting a \"light lunch\". I would certainly go again and thoroughly enjoyed the day. |

Lovely hotel and facilities The staff were attentive and the facilities excellent. Often the pool and spa area are lacking in these kind of deals but the hotel lived up to expectations. Lunch was delicious and well presented and we thoroughly enjoyed the day.I was also impressed by Spa seekers service- often you have to make your own arrangements for timings of treatments but my details were passed straight to the hotel and they contacted me which was helpful. |

Fantastic! I booked this spa day for my sisters 30th birthday. Upon arrival we were instantly impressed by the customer service the spa offered. The staff was really friendly and informative. The treatments themselves were fantastic although they did run a little short of the allocated time. All I can say about the relaxation room was wow - I want a bedroom like that. Ever so relaxing and finished off the treatments nicely. I had a facial, pedicure and massage and the result of all of them lasted well over 2 weeks so was worth it. The only drawbacks would be that the restaurant is in the main hotel so you can not go there in your robe. A bit annoying to have to get changed when you are so relaxed and have not finished your day. The spa would definitely benefit from a Jacuzzi but apart from that it was a fantastic day. Would definitely go again! |

Adhere to session lengths published This was the second time I had booked a spa session through Spa seekers; our first Spa weekend was at Kegworth Best Western Hotel which was excellent. The only negative point I would like to make is that when the length of the spa treatments state between 30 - 60 mins why don\'t they adhere to it. Myself and my girlfriend had an hour’s treatment at Kegworth and we were both finished after 50 mins, then I booked a spa package again over the Christmas period for my girlfriend and for my parents as a Christmas present and everyone of our sessions were not to the length of time that was stated. We all had 90 minute sessions and we all had finished our massages after approximately 75-80 minutes, which in total was almost another 60 mins after all four sessions. Don\'t get me wrong, what the staff do and the service has been superb, it is just the lengths of the treatments are misleading a little. |
