Need some extra motivation? Sign up for group class. There’s aqua fit, core, Zumba, LBT, circuits and Boot Camp on offer for those who don’t like to go it alone, and they all take place in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Prefer your exercise in the fresh air? Then it’s time to hit the green. Tee off at Marston Lakes, the hotel’s own superb golf course nestled in the picturesque Warwickshire countryside. Designed to USGA specifications and spread across nine holes, it offers the perfect challenge for golfers of all abilities. But if a round of golf really isn’t for you, there’s also a fun pitch and putt course complete with lakes, bunkers and elevated greens all of its own.

The Brasserie

For delectable evening dinners and sparkling Sunday lunches prepared by Lea Marston’s talented head chef and his team, head to the Brasserie. Dine à la carte, in suitably swish surroundings, on a menu of British and European-inspired dishes full of locally sourced ingredients.

Hathaway’s Pub

For a more relaxed experience, make yourself comfy among the exposed brick, wooden beams and open fireplaces of Hathaway’s Pub, right at the heart of the hotel. Sink into a squishy sofa and tuck into some gastro pub classics, or head to the light-flooded conservatory. There’s even a sun-trap beer garden where you can catch some rays alongside an alfresco sharing platter.

Bar 76

If you fancy a scone alongside your self-care, afternoon tea is served in Bar 76, Lea Marston’s well-stocked cocktail bar. Spoil yourself with delicate finger sandwiches, tempting cakes and, of course, freshly baked scones served with lashings of clotted cream and strawberry jam.

And you might just find yourself lingering in Bar 76 long after the crumbs of your afternoon tea have been cleared away. In the evening, it makes the perfect spot to unwind as you wine and dine over live music, great cocktails and some tempting treats from the informal bar menu.

Whether you like to do some laps, take part in an aqua fit class or prefer just to lounge alongside it, there’s a 13m heated indoor swimming pool to enjoy at the Lea Marston Hotel. Complete with built-in jacuzzi, the pool is set in a gorgeous room with an intricate, vaulted ceiling that’s perfect to gaze at while working on your backstroke. The swimming pool is open from Monday to Friday between 6.30am and 9.30pm, on Saturday between 6.30am and 8.00pm and on Sunday between 8.00am and 8.00pm. 

At the last count there were 118 rooms at the hotel, with five different room categories to choose from. Settle in to a clean, comfortable Classic, upgrade to a Superior or Executive, or really push the boat out with one of the suites. Perfect for occasions when only the very best will do, the Deluxe Suites will wow you with their luxurious decor, sumptuous super king beds and decadent bathrooms complete with roll-top baths. They’re the perfect way to spoil yourself after your indulgent spa trip.

For residential stays, check-in time is from 3.00pm. Then, on your day of departure, your room must be vacated by 11.00am.

Lea Marston Hotel & Spa offers good-sized family rooms and is very welcoming to little ones. There are children’s menus on offer to keep them well-fed and watered, plus lots of kid-friendly activities to do nearby, such as Drayton Manor Theme Park. Children can tee off at the hotel’s pitch and putt golf course and have a splash around in the pool, although there are four hours set aside for children’s swimming each day, from 9am to 11am and 4pm to 6pm. Children are not allowed in the blissfully adult-only spa area however, where the minimum age limit is 16.

Dogs are allowed at Lea Marston Hotel & Spa, as long as they are really good boys (or girls). Friendly, well-behaved dogs can stay for £15 per dog per night in ground floor standard rooms, with a maximum of two polite pooches permitted. Please note that the hotel can’t guarantee acceptance of dogs as the rooms you need might not be available. So, if a pet-friendly room is a travel essential for you, check with the hotel before making your booking.

The hotel has its own nine-hole golf course called Marston Lakes and not only does it offer stunning natural beauty, this parkland course has been lovingly designed to USGA specification to cater for golfers of all abilities. Don’t know your birdie from your bogey? You can buy individual lessons from PGA qualified coaches to help you get started. A pitch and putt golf course offers a fun challenge, and there’s even a 27-bay floodlit driving range that opens daily from 9am to long into the evening to help you work on your swing.
