About
There’s nowhere better than the Pennines when it comes to long walks amid stress-busting scenery. But it doesn’t have to be all about muddy boots and tiring outdoor pursuits. Not when there are destinations as heavenly as the Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa waiting to rejuvenate you.
So what makes Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa so special? First, there’s the unique set-up. More than a hotel, it’s an entire village of converted 17th century farmhouses with 135 rooms and stunning views across the moors. It nestles in three acres of land with its own fountains, gardens and lawns. It even has its own pub, tea room and village shop!
The dramatic West Pennine Moors are close by, so be sure to head out for a scenic walk at some point. If you’re a history buff, you’ll enjoy the Bolton Steam Museum while Smithills Open Farm is perfect for a family day out. Further afield, the exciting city of Manchester is within easy reach, and it offers a fabulous selection of shops, museums, art galleries and landmarks.
But chances are, you won’t want to tear yourself away from the Last Drop Village itself. Delicious meals in the Courtyard Restaurant are an experience to savour, but the spa is the icing on the cake. Take a dip in the 18m indoor swimming pool. Unwind in the outdoor hydrotherapy pool. Drift from aroma grotto to rock sauna, bio sauna and steam room. But don’t leave without trying an ESPA ritual from the comfort of one of eight zen-like treatment rooms.
