I booked this as a treat for my wife and I as an anniversary present. SpaSeekers were very helpful when making the booking as they advised us that it would be preferable to have treatments in the afternoon rather than the morning and gave us a full explanation of the package we had (spa use, lunch and 3 treatments) The Spa is of reasonable quality and very clean. Everything is there that you would expect, Lunch was simple but of reasonable quality and no complaints on that front. The treatments were excellent. My wife was very pleased with the advice that she was given and we both felt incredibly relaxed when we came out. However, a large Hen party had now invaded the spa area. Whilst I recognise that this is not completely under the Spa's control the party had commandeered all the loungers and were quite raucous which completely ruined the ambiance of the venue and we decided to leave. If the Spa has a large party booked in more provision should be made for others.
The spa was lovely tranquil the girls were very friendly and helpful the treatment was excellent this is the second time I have been and would recommend it highly the only bad point for me was both times the girls doing the treatment didn't stop talking to me so wasn't very relaxing but they were only being friendly but I just wanted to relax and enjoy it which was a bit hard when they kept talking to you.
The staff was very nice and smiling. We felt most welcome and started our day with a cup of tea and a biscuit, which was quite enjoyable. The light lunch was very tasty and adapted to such a day. The sessions were extremely relaxing, which is the reason why I was coming to the spa. All areas were clean and spacious. The "warm corner" was particularly nice with its warm floor. The only negative point was that after the bath in the swimming pool (whilst waiting for the first treatment) we remained with our wet bath gown and kept it until lunch: I felt cold in that wet garment and asked for another one (I could not enjoy my meal being cold, and I started to loose the benefits of the warm treatments). The staff kindly gave me a dry one, but I think that it would have left a better effect if this had been done spontaneously. A very good experience altogether, and I would love to go back !
Really lovely day with my daughter for her birthday treat, peaceful pool and facilities, lovely smells, music and warmth. I would do this again
We had a very relaxing day at this spa. Overall the staff were very friendly and put you at ease. The choice of facilities were good although we didn't use the gym and we could have taken part in water aerobics but it was lovely to just relax in the spa and take time to just chat. The facilities were very clean, the lunch was just right, dessert was delicious and our treatments after lunch were fantastic. Our favourite was the neck, shoulder and back massage which was very soothing, carried out very professionally and thoroughly! We liked this place as we never felt pressured to do anything that we didn't want to and we had a great day just doing nothing and being pampered. Will definitely return.
