Outstanding!!! I was treated to a Spa day at the Lorrens. Having never been on one before I didn\'tknow what to expect. I need not of worried because as soon as I arrived I was made to feel very welcome even to the extent that I was a friendthey had not seen in a while. I was given the lunch menu to choose what I would like, the choices were amazing. The staff were very friendly and made you feel comfortable nothing seemed too much trouble. I was given a timetable of my day so I knew what treatment I was having and when. When lunch came I was very surprised at the size of the portion & there was a jug of water on the table as well as being provided with coffee or tea. I left feeling extremly relaxed & would recommend the Lorrens without having to give it a moments thought. I\'m now saving up to go back again. |

Solitary indulgence It was a fabulous gift and I would recommend it to anyone trying to think of a luxurious present for someone they want to treat, though it may have been enhanced with some company to share it with. The Spa was comfortable, if a little dated. The changing facilities communal and cramped but the staff extremely helpful and friendly. I wish they had worn name badges.It would have been helpful to know full details of the programme in advance and detailed information on what to bring; fortunately I brought a book as there was lots of sitting around waiting. I was told the day started at 9.30 am and broke the speed limit to get there yet my first treatment was not until 10.45 am.I had no idea what \'sea and senses\' was, nor did I know what a \'Mary Cohr\' was. The option of a menu of treatments to choose from would be good.Overall though a fabulous day and I feel very spoiled and pampered. |

relaxed, refreshed,restored, revitalised I have jut returned home after five days of wonderful treatments, fabulous food provided by fabulous, professional staff who treated me like I was the only person there. I stayed on for an additional two nights, to give myself time to gently get back to normality. The relaxation package had a set number of treatments, including sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi sessions. Each morning at breakfast I was presented with my list of treatments for the day. No thinkg required. At my initial consultation I had said I was there to de-stress. The treatments were scheduled to achieve that, including the extras I had booked (eyebrow tint and shape). The food was wonderful; healthy without being boring and a wonderful choice from the meal menus presented each day. I am still glowing from my stay will definitely use this spa again. |

Superb, sheer heaven This was my first experience of a Health Hydro and it more than lived up to beyond my expectations. Proprietors of the Lorrens, Steve and Suzanne, made we feel welcome from the moment I arrived; I found their personal care and attention to my every need quite amazing and felt as if I was the only person they needed to look after. I felt part of a family. Facilities were superb with each individual member of staff happy to look after my every need. The food was superb and catered to individual needs. I felt totally relaxed and chilled and left feeling \'on top of the world’; on arrival home, my husband commented on how well and different I looked. I will be going back to the Lorrens and taking my daughters with me, what a great time I had. I highly recommend the Lorrens for relaxation and personal care. Out of this world I have been going here for several years now, mostly twice a year. Suzanne and Steve are wonderfully welcoming and the staff are friendly and professional. My room was warm and comforting and I did not leave Lorrens to venture out during my stay. The treatments are fabulous, especially the hot stones massage. I arrived totally exhausted and run down, and left with a spring in my step. In spite of doing the Relaxation break (not the Slimming one) I still lost 1 kg. I am looking forward to next year\'s visits. |

Very chilled and relaxing Having received a SpaSeekers voucher for my 50th Birthday I chose Lorrens as it was not far for me to travel. All be it I was going it alone. On arrival I received a warm welcome, coffee and the day’s relaxation itinerary was all laid out for me with treatments and times, so I didn\'t have to worry at all. Lunch was delightful. If you visit Devon it\'s a great day for you ladies to get spoilt and pampered. I even lost 7.5 inches with the body wrap and my skin was beautifully soft for days. It would have been nice to have had a friend along to have shared my experience, but they were all green with envy when I told them all about my perfect day from start to finish. |

Brilliant! As first time spa goers mum and I chose the Lorrens because it offered a taster of lots of treatments. The step-by-step explanation of our day (and of what to wear around the hydro) really helped calm our misplaced nervousness and once we were in our robes and slippers we were whisked off for our first treatment. Our therapists were also wonderfully friendly and by the time we had finished our first treatment we felt completely relaxed and at home. We managed to find ourselves a bit of time between treatments to visit the pool and sunbathe; the fact that I felt sufficiently at ease to do this is in itself a testimony to the welcoming atmosphere of staff and other guests, most of whom we had met by the end of lunch. Having booked together, all of our treatments were organised at the same times so we were never waiting for each other. The G5 left me a bit tingly for a while but the Mary Kohr facial and full body massage were wonderful. Despite our very different skins we both left feeling beautiful au natural. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can and would certainly recommend this spa. |
