Great spa evening! We went on the spa evening offer, there were 4 of us. I must say the venue itself is amazing on wonderful grounds. Staff were accommodating and friendly. We had a tour of the facilities, which was good as there was a lot to take in! The place was very big with different spa and treatment rooms, including relaxation areas, coffee rooms and a grand restaurant. The spa facilities were very good and we tried them all. The one we loved was the outside Jacuzzi tub, which was hot. On the day that we went the weather was not that nice, but once inside the Jacuzzi tub, you don\'t think about the coldness as its such a different experience, definitely recommend it!!! In our spa package, we had included a 3 course meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, however, drinks are not free, which are charged at the end of the night. You can also bring your own alcoholic drink at a surcharge. The overall experience was fab! Would recommend it and will be going again, as it was such an enjoyable, relaxing evening! worth every penny...well done to all the staff and organisers. This is a fantastic deal!!! |

Relaxing Jubilee Spa Break The facilities are really nice here - it’s lovely to sit & read in the drawing room of the old manor house or also in the music room. There is also a full size snooker table but alas it was always in use when we looked, but we did not try that hard. The spa was very busy during the 1st 2 days & so there were slight delays in getting seated for meals. The food is really lovely & plenty of it. They don\'t put butter out, only flora, but happily bring it when asked. I had a lovely massage & facial & used the gym every day. We also had a Jubilee BBQ with nicely dressed tables - inside due to the rain alas! |

Ultra Relaxing Super Spa On arrival, we had difficulty finding our room. Signage within the complex was poor and when we asked for directions they were not that helpful. Apart from that, our stay was marvellous. The restaurant food was beautiful and the waiting staff attentive and polite. The treatments were relaxing. The ambience was relaxed and relaxing. I would really recommend the Thalassotherapy pool and the Head in the Clouds treatment. Will definitely return! |

Enjoyable in parts! Champneys did not live up to all my expectations. One of my daughters chose Tring Champneys because it was highly recommended. I was lucky to spend the two days with my wonderful daughters and it gave us time away from the stress of everyday life to enjoy each other and catch up with ourselves. On arrival at Champneys we were not shown either around the complex or to our rooms. I never found my way around the place all the time we were there. We wanted to have a pre dinner drink - this was not available. I was cold in the lounge (fully dressed) and had to drape a rug over my shoulders. The meals were good with a good choice and the treatments were wonderful. The pool was excellent. The aqua fit and walk were both very good too. The bathrooms were shabby. The outside Jacuzzi was wonderful, sitting with snow all around, but steaming in a pool! The steam room and sauna were delightful. |

Fantastic time had! My daughter and I visited Champneys at Tring for a spa day, my daughter was just about to go to university for the first time and we wanted some Mother and Daughter time. A great spa break The spa itself is beautiful and the facilities are in very good condition. All the staff are very helpful and pleasant and it makes for a very good relaxing break. My daughter and I booked a number of treatments and most of them were fantastic especially the more unusual treatments. I was a little disappointed when I had a basic facial but that was bench marked against the very high quality of everything else. The food was very good too. We were pleased to find that we could eat good tasting food that was low in fat without feeling like we were dieting. Before leaving I took advantage of the offer to buy a voucher for a return visit at a discount - this time I will come with my husband! |
