The 4 hours we spent at the spa was plenty of time to enjoy all the tranquilic facilities. The hot tubs allowed a wonderful view of the gardens, even though the gardens feel like they're lacking character. The steam and sauna were outstanding. Due to the size of the spa we felt as if we had the whole place to ourselves however with periodically bumping into other guests so we didn't feel alone. The massage was transformative, wonderfully done and well worth booking. The afternoon tea was delicious (however you should not he so generous with your jam and cream on your first scone as their won't be enough to fill up the second one). The only real issue I had with the spa is that there were no water fountains/ water jugs. This left us feeling rather light headed and a little sick (especially when In the steam room). So I highly recommend bringing a water bottle with you. There aren't as much facilities as the bigger spa's but being quieter and more exclusive is worth it.
On arrival, really impressed by the grounds and long tree lined drive, plenty of parking and the spa is in its own entirely separate building so you don’t have to wander through the hotel in your robe. All the staff and the welcome were magnificent, we were offered drinks on arrival and shown outside to the lawn. The outside area is particularly nice with hanging egg chairs, we were then given a tour of the immaculately decorated spa. There’s no swimming pool but it actually wasn’t missed at all with such beautiful surroundings but on bad weather days it may be missed. The massages we had were fantastic and the therapists were very warm and explained everything very carefully. The cream tea was beautifully presented and the sandwiches were some of the best we’d ever had, only criticism is that we had to pay extra for tea with ‘afternoon tea’ which was a bit odd. We didn’t have time to use the sauna or steam room. All in all it’s definitely worth a visit, for the views if nothing else!
Spa was good. Ladies nice. Treatment excellent. However, they charged us for 2 glasses of Prosecco which they should not have as it was already purchased in a previously bought package. This was sorted out though on departure of the hotel on Sunday. Dinner was fantastic but breakfast was luke warm at best & not palatable. Again, we were charged for our evening meal when it was already bought & paid for. Again it was sorted but for it to happen twice was a bit poor. Getting a drink at the bar was horrendous as no one came for 10 minutes. Room was tiny & the ' Bathroom ' was built for the borrowers. No bath & the shower was so cramped. No fixings to put shower gels, soap, flannels etc at all. To sum up, great evening meal & Spa. Poor room, bar service & breakfast.
The first thing I noticed about Warbrook House was the tree-lined driveway – very classy – and the second thing I noticed was the spectacular architecture. From then on, I knew this place was going to be special. I enjoyed a fab long weekend there, spent a bit of time in the gym, a lot of time in the spa and the rest of my stay in the restaurant! It’s a really stylish hotel but it’s also very friendly and welcoming. I’m already thinking about going back again one day.
The spa was small but nice and quiet. Outside area with swing seats was lovely with relaxing views. The treatment was quite short but good. But for what we paid which included dinner and breakfast, was a great deal overall All staff were friendly and helpful. Bedrooms were good too.
