There are times when we all need to find a luxurious sanctuary, and that’s why the fabulous Slaley Hall is such a popular retreat. Located amid a thousand acres of gorgeous Northumberland countryside, this haven of harmony is perfect for both days and stays of non-stop bliss. No matter how busy you might be, there should always be time in your schedule for a paradise like this one.
Make a window in your schedule to go back in time with a visit to Hadrian’s Wall, and to soak up the splendour of Alnwick Garden and Castle. You’ll find some wonderful shopping at the Metro Centre, while Newcastle Upon Tyne plays host to some exceptional live music venues, not to mention art galleries, museums, clubs and a cathedral that will take your breath away.
You’ll find more than 140 supremely comfortable bedrooms at Slaley Hall, so an overnight stay is always a temptation. The spa offers nine delicious treatment rooms, there’s a fantastic gym and a wonderful golf course as well. And the icing on the cake is provided by three stylish eateries.
To ensure strict social distancing the gym and pool access must be pre-booked. Due to restricted capacity in the changing rooms, we kindly request that all guests come dressed in pool or gym attire and that hotel residents change in their bedrooms.

Arrived at the hotel and had a lovely breakfast with a huge choice on offer at around 9.30am. We then headed to the spa where we were met by a very helpful receptionist, we filled a form out in the chill out room and chose what treatments we would like. We were then free to use all facilities all day long. I was surprised by the changing rooms as it only has one cubicle to change in but it wasn’t busy at the time I used it and managed to get in and out. The showers had full use of Elemis products which were a bonus, and you were given a robe and slippers for the day. Pool area very clean and looked after and although there were some busy moments it was pretty quiet throughout the day which was welcomed! Lunch was buffet style and loads to chose from from salads, soups and main courses. The treatments were amazing and well worth the wait. Overall experience was brilliant for the price we paid and the surrounds were perfect. We would love to return again soon

From the moment we arrived at reception we were greeted by friendly staff we were given our forms to fill in and went into the relaxation lounge which is lovely. The spa facilities are great there is a good selection of treatments and I chose a back neck and shoulder massage plus a facial it was fabulous and the other people I was with enjoyed their experience as well. Light lunch was included in our package and served in the Hadrian's restaurant the food was very good . The whole experience was lovely and well worth what we paid I would certainly go back to Slaley Hall and would book through SpaSeekers again. We were four very happy customers.

Great value treatment!
All 4 family members really enjoyed our spa experience.
The revitalizing (back massage and body scrub) and relaxation (back massage with head and scalp) treatments both represented real value for money.
Staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Facilities in general were good.

Not worth the price
Not worth the price at all. We had booked a hour spa time but turns out this was only 45 minutes. The arrows on the floor around the hotel aren’t easy to follow at all. We booked a slot for breakfast......Read more
